E11 20 b fuel map: scratchin my head

after reading the manual a few times i thought it would be a snap to pull 10% out of the fuel map of my friend's 20b. but no. i went to fuel map 1 and highlighted it all and then did the shift or control w the down arrow expecting values to diminish. (as it seemed to indicate in the manual under reference keystrokes).

later i exported the map to excel, changed it there but couldn't import it back to the program.

i did search and wasn't able to come up w anything.

thanks,

howard coleman

Did you try hitting "5" after highlighting all the bars to reduce by a percentage?

i emailed haltech support. apparently you edit the 2D map, not the table of numbers like the power fc.

How well is that E11 working?

Haltech just asked me to return my second E11V1, ReTED is having no luck with one and j9fd3s is in the same boat.

Haltech mentioned maybe half of them work on 7s and half just don't for no apparent reason?

Are E11V2's suffering from the same heat related shut down/crashing issues or has this been resolved? JET

Haltech AUS has released a new firmware and Halwin 1.43 that supposedly fixes this problem.

Check the downloads section: http://www.haltech.com/

mine sure did. we're thinking with all of the outputs used its too hot. the same ecu that would crash on mine, worked fine on 2 rotor and 4 cylinder cars.

1.43 helped, it just would drop part of the ignition instead of totally shutting off
