TwEaK,, You can get some maps from Hit Man's website.
http://www.hitman.hm/installation.htm
I linked you his install page, you might find it useful.
You should be able to find maps in his download area.
You will need a stone-aged laptop that has a serial port with windows ME or earlier OS. XP and later have no dos support. You need dos because the E6k's programming software is dos based.
OR
You can learn to set up Dos Box and use a USB to serial adapter. Some people have problems configuring Dos Box to work. (like me) good luck with this one.
If you have an 89 or later engine, the injectors are high impedance. If you have an earlier car, keep the stock resistor pack. QED (I am assuming you have a stock running car.)

You can work with the software in regular XP in offline mode. However, you will not be able to go online with the ECU unless you use a DOS emulator. DosBox is very popular and in my experience works well with XP machines.
