Air temp sensor Calibration?

I have the GM sensor on my PS1000 and since I am switching to an FD upper on my FC setup I need to use a physically smaller sensor.I went with the Fast acting AIT that they are selling on the forum(For an FD).Fits where the old Fd sensor is located( under the upper manifold).
So my question is do I have to Re-calibrate anything on the Haltech settings under AIT sensor?
Thanks.Dave.

I can help with the how. The what you'll have to get from the guy that sold you the sensor.

Why don't you relocate the gm sensor as those calibrations are in the ps1k?

^ We know that, problem is; knowing the curve and values to input into the haltech software.

That info may be in the FSM or the service highlights manual.

The problem is that the GM sensor is 3/8 NPT and the Fd sensor is 1/8th.
NOW,I don't know if I just pulled a Boo-boo But My Fast acting sensor didn't arrive and I wanted to get the car up and mobile.
I drilled and tapped the Upper manifold out to accept the 3/8 NPT Gm sensor IN the Stock FD AIT location.
It is IN..( I have an adapter to go back to the FD sized sensor,IF I decide to go to that.)
I hope that what I did isn't going to cause any problems.
Anyone..just to confirm,is it OK??Gm AIT in the stock FD location( under upper manifold).

Lately,it could cause another "domino effect of parts" to go on the car..That has been the luck I have been having,..weird **** been goin on!.
The reasoning behind asking?Well, the GM sensor was on the FC setup in the throttle body elbow.
Now it is in the FD upper manifold.
I thought that maybe it would see different temp scenarios,Seeing it will now get heat.
...maybe I "think" too much..

The s6 intake air sensor curve is located in the platinum software.
