I really don't think putting 10W40 in the gas tank is a very good idea. The OMP injects a small amount of crankcase oil into the combustion chamber, not the gas tank. Just asking for trouble. Clogged injectors, clogged fuel filter. Yuk!

As for premix oil (OK for the gas tank) any 2 stroke rated TCW3 is OK.

RX7 GUY, you probably don't have to worry about it. These guys have either disabled or eliminated their stock oil metering pumps and so instead have to mix the oil into the gas by hand. Assuming your car is stock and the OMP is in good working order, you don't have to do that. Read up in the FAQs and do a search for "premix" to find out more about it.

Amsoil HP injector oil, 1oz./gal seems to work well with minimal smoke once its warm.

Castrol Syntec Blend 20-50 running through engine & OMP

Castrol 2-Stroke

Mix ratio 1\4 qt every full tank.

Never had problems.

RX7GUY - It has been proven that premixing oil in your gas is very good for the engine.

Here is some reading.

I use either Protek or Amsoil in my car. I run 6 ounces per fillup for daily driving and 1 ounce per gallon when Autocrossing or doing track days.

I was advised to run castrol marine grade 2stroke at 80mls to a 1Litre not sure what that converts to for gallons. It works well no smoke and adequate lubrication. Only thing with pre mix is its advised to upgrade ignition to stop plugs fouling.

if there is nothing wrong with the car (ignition) already and if you keep the ratios reasonable, you should never have fouling issues. at least, that's been my experience since i started premixing years ago - and that was stock ignition.

reg oil

I also put taluine in my tank with regular oil because it thins it out and it gives me more octane in the tank.
