Question On Swap do i have to rebuild

im doing a N/A to a Turbo ll in my 87 rx-7 and i have the motor but no money to do a rebuild? Help me

Does it NEED a rebuild? If it does, then there is nothing we can do because most of us have no money either

If you are asking us if it needs a rebuild you are asking the wrong question because there is no way we can tell you that.

well for starters, does it smoke(black) and does it run like sh*t? then u go from there!! :p

otherwise u can buy a bolt on turbo and replace the exhaust for a turbo!! PEACE man and good luck!!

THE THING IS THAT THE MOTOR IS OUT AND ITS A j-SPEC WITH ONLY 20K

Do a compression check. If the motor is not in the car and cannot be tested with a compression checker there is no way to correctly test it.

You can get an idea by turning the engine by hand with the spark plugs out and listen to the compression pulses. You should hear 3 solid swooshes out each rotor.
