rode in a evo9mr
Last night i rode in my friends new MR. The car is very very clean inside and out, but it really didn't impress me at all. Acceleration wasn't that impressive at all, he kept missing 3rd and complaining about the gear box being broken and how he had to take it back to Mitsubishi. I figured it would shine on the turns but sitting in the back when he would take a turn i felt like i was sliding off my seat. Anyways its completely stock so mayb thats why i didnt find it that impressive. Was considering an evo before my FD i made the right choice. Anyways just thought i would share my experience anyone else ride or drive a new MR? - Eric

I dont really think its fair to compare a 4door 4wd to a pure sports car like a 7... hell on handling even a miata will be better than 95% of anything else...
But if you have a family and live in places that has winter it would be a fantastic choice.
but your correct, they arnt as impressive as their owners would make them out to be.

i thought the acceleration was pretty awesome. The handling on it was pretty awesome too! I drove it, and it was pretty damn awesome. All in all, I want an EVO 9 MR... too bad it's too damn expensive.

I reather go with a STI... jst because u can control traction on it.. certain percentage on the front and back.. for example 70 on the rear and 30 front.. seen a couple of them at the runs around here and there's this white 1 .got damn that thing peels out like he's rear wheel drive or some.. lol... i like it... but DID not like the headlights on the new 1s. preffer the old 1s.. 05 models.
