MOP: what RPM in relation to engine RPM?

Howdy folks!

I’m curious what RPM the MOP turns in relation to the engine RPM.

It’s obviously a constant relationship, but is it geared up or down, or is it 1:1?
Does anyone know actual numbers if not 1:1?

Are there differences between engine models, or did Mazda keep it the same throughout all its rotary models (including Renesis)?

Thanks!

its geared down, the sprocket on the engine is smaller than the one on the oil pump. off the top i'd say its about .75 to 1? something like that

the 1968-1985 engines are the same, and then the 1986-2003 engines are the same. not sure about the Rx8, i know the S2 is completely different
