My 7 :P I just borrowed my parents car until I had it running well enough.
You can get a hell of a used car for 2 or 3 grand. My first 7 was 2500 and it ran really well jsut like that. by **** box I meant like... 600 dollar 88 accord with 300,000 kms!

I have a migraine after reading this thread...
are you ******* me 10k for a FC?
Who the hell said "you probably wont find anyone here who likes piston's better than rotarys" Thats bullshit, theres a ton of guys on this forum who prefer their 300hp n/a v8's in their 7's, they just dont hang out in this section b/c of threads like this.

Google is your friend
Powertrains and Performance:
Two 24-valve, 3.0-liter V6 engines are available. Base 300ZX coupes, 2+2s and Convertibles have a normally aspirated version that makes 222 hp at 6,400 rpm and 198 lb-ft of torque at a relatively high 4,800 rpm. The 300ZX Turbo gains two intercooled turbos (one for each cylinder bank) that boost output to 300 hp at 6,400 rpm and 283 lb-ft of torque at 3,800 rpm. Power is applied to the rear wheels through a standard five-speed transmission and limited-slip differential. Should you want to have the car shift its own gears, a four-speed automatic is optional
The FAQ here on the forum is also your friend
How much Horsepower did my car come with from the factory?
86-88 NA = 146 HP @ 6500 RPM w/ 138 Ft/lb @ 3500 RPM
86-88 Turbo = 182 @ 6500 RPM w/ 183 Ft/lb @ 3500 RPM
89-91 NA = 160 HP @ 7000 RPM w/ 140 Ft/lb @ 4000 RPM
89-91 Turbo = 200-202 @ 6500 RPM w/ 196 Ft/lb @ 3500 RPM
Infini IV = 215 @ 6500 RPM w/ 206 Ft/lb @ 3500 RPM

Alright, massachusetts. I got my 87 T2 for 2850. Body is mint. Engine just blew, so Im going to get some money from the guy I got it from because he said the engine was fine. Somehow he filed the tranny way above the check plug, so it leaked, but I found that out when I was changing the tranny fluid.
10000 dollars? Hell no. You could get an FD in good condition for that price. Im only sixteen and know a lot about these rotaries, just research it.. Just think about it. Rotaries do have torque in the low end, and almost unlimited highend power. You can rev them at 9000rpms for 10 minutes straight! The radiator cap will pop off and it will overheat but there are videos of it. Can you do that with a piston engine. NO.
One of my friends drove it to school one day and a bunch of chumps came over and asked how many cylinders it had. ). They drive jettas and crap.
