Ignition failure

Some background, i have a 1985 rx7 fb 12a and I was working on a water leakage under the carpet(driver’s side) I went out to work on something else and I left a portable heater in the car. When I came back the heater had fallen over and was blowing onto the lock assembly which made it hot and metal expands when its hot so I cooled it down by tapping a paper towel with brake cleaner against it. After an hour or so I tried to turn over the car, but the key gave major resistance, as if the steering wheel was locked. But it was not, eventually it gave and I could turn it all the way over to start the car, but nothing. Not even a click, the voltage was not going down and odly enough the rear hatch release and the tank hatch release also do not work but every other electric component does. I wonder if anyone knows or has experienced what this is? I think I might have fried my lock.
