key doesn't turn

Hey everybody, I just picked up my first rx-7 a couple of weeks ago, its an 85 base model. When I bought it everything was fine, and I ran it a couple of times last week but now I can't start it. The key is in the lock position and will not turn. I'm thinking the key is just worn down, but I want to know if theres some secret button to push or something? If the key is worn down, what options do I have to be able to get the car going? Thanks

Try wiggling the steering wheel while attempting to turn the key. These cars do have a steering lock, and if the wheel is locked, that can cause the key to be hard to turn.

Um, you could always get a key made from the vin number, but last time I tried that...the key didn't work in any of the key holes.
