How can I avoid boost creep?
I have a second gen turbo and am running a adaptor and intake filter, and am considering getting a 3 inch exhaust turbo to a high flow single muffler.
I have read that you have to port your wastegate.. I do not know how to port it, nor do I have the time or the materials to take it apart and port it.... What can I do to avoid porting the wastegate?
If I run the 3 inch, i know it will happen..
Will boost creep occur if I run 2.5 inch?
My setup will allow me to run about 14psi anyways.... how much boost creep are we talking?
I just dont want to mess with the wastegate, but I still want to add my mods..
I can support the 14psi, what do I do?

14 PSI with a high flow intake, a 3 inch exhaust with a straight pipe back to a high flow muffler is not the same at all as 14 PSI with a regular intake, a cat, and a stock muffler. The difference is the airflow...
There's nothing that I know of that you will be able to do if you run a low restriction air intake and a 3 inch full exhaust to stop creep.
Since you live in LA, that will help because the hotter temps tend to make less creep. I'd say you're going to be looking at 15-16 PSI possibly.
It's been a while since I had an FC turbo, but on mine, porting the wastegate helped quite a bit and is really the proper solution.
