experence input
car: 87 n/a
mods: intake,exhaust,jacobs pro pack,6 ports gone,all emissions gone,t.b. port and mod,pulleys,
drove it on the highway for about 20 min. get home and the throttle response is shitty > give iy full throttle and it bogs but kicks in< out the exhaust it is sounding ported but its not>tuh tuh tuh tuh tuh< it seems to run fine from 3500 rpm on. take off is kinda poppy in the exhaust but then gets fine and. The car seems not to exelerate as quick as it did in low rpm's I have dicked w/ it over and over again and no luck thanks 4 ur input

Before you say everything is messed you need to do a compression check. You don't even need a tester to do a generic one. Pull the fuel and spark fuses, EGI and whatever else, and then pull the front plugs. Crank the engine and see if you hear nice pulses. Then do the same with the rear. This is a generic test but it will tell you if things are really messed up.
Also, when you say it runs fine after 3500, does that mean it has the same power as it use to? If so, then I highly doubt the engine is messed.

Yeah, I never say I am fooked until I am 100% sure I would do the ATF in the engine trick a few times, maybe even let it sit for a few hours and then rotate it. My friend had good luck pulling off the exhaust and scrubbing the seals with a brush.
Good luck!
Hmm... I wonder if the centripetal, centrifigal, whatever, force at the higher RPM's is pushing the seal out?

Yeah that could be, his engine is probably getting tired and it's time for a rebuild.Might as well as get it done and over with.He probably still has good rotors and housings so it would be worth rebuilding.
