CAS values

Anyone know the power values that it takes to power a CAS. I want to use 2 6al's, however, I don't want to use the ECU. Is this possible? Someone I know is running a carburated second gen with no ECU but still uses the CAS. How does this work?

You can't do that.
That's why there is no information on it.

How do you handle ignition advance?
You might be able to get away with this with a pair of Digitial-7's, but do you know how much those things cost???

You would need something similar to an Electromotive crank fired ignition. Something with full advance control. The CAS does not have a power requirement. It is not fed power at all. Reluctor triggers produce their own signal from the energy of the movement of ferrous metal past the magnets. Of the four wires for the CAS two are ground and two are signal.

So, if I were to hook the two signal wires up to a 6al a piece, then it may work? As far as advance goes, I don't care about it because I'm running boost. Advance will improve fuel mileage but I'm not running advance now.

You have no idea what you are doing.
If you're okay with blowing up your engine, go right ahead and go for it.
