Another oil catch can question
Hey guys, sorry I know catch can questions have been done to death but I have a really specific one. I have a S5 engine with a Weber conversion and I'm looking for a decent and simple way to vent my crankcase. I had pretty much settled on using a simple vented catch can, but I see a lot of conversations about how it should really be plumbed back into vacuum (which I have no provision for with this carb or manifold), and on top of that the catch cans I see for sale even show a specific "in" port and "out" port.
Now, I was planning on grabbing a 2-port catch can with a filter on top and routing both the nipple in the center iron and the nipple in the filler neck into it (I saw it done this way on a REPU at JCCS) but I'm not sure anymore that it'll work properly because of the "in" vs "out" ports on the catch cans, and the possible need for vacuum. I might be overthinking this but I'd like someone with experience to chime in: will the plan I've described work?
