Well, since you didn't say what car you have, I'm assuming it's and FD since that's what's in your avatar. He was probably referring to the XL (Extended Life) line of products and that currently covers two weights that would be appropriate for the Rx-7.

As someone that uses and sells their products, I will say this: you can use the XL stuff, but you have to remember to also use common sense to adjust the Amsoil recommendation, accordingly. (Funnily enough, they don't seem to recommend any motor oil at all now that they have this new site format).

First, remember that rotaries (in general, but particularly turbo rotaries) are a little harder on oils than other engines. And second, you must take into account the way you drive the car. I also recently learned that porting can affect the overall life of your oil. I intend to look more closely into it when I have the chance, but suffice it to say if you have any type of race-oriented port, then that needs to be considered as well.

I do race my car and I do have a race port engine and sorry its an FD3s
Im not looking to save money and leave the oil for 20 000km
im just asking what to use and what will the max km to have it
I don mind if I will change it in 5000km I just have to know what is there life
for the 10-30 I had it was every 2000km max for me

well, it's hard to give you an actual number if that's what you're seeking. details matter for something like this. you're the one that races the car and knows the details of your particular situation. some races change according to racing hours, some according to number of races, others use mileage, and so on.

maybe you'll get better help in the Racing forums.
