Amsoils new 2000 series gear oil...? for KAAZ?
Has anyone tried the new Amsoil 2000 high performance gear oil?
I guess it suppose to be fairly new. I have the Kaaz LSD unit now and have not found any local shops that stock the Kaaz fuild.
Thought I will give the Amsoil a try tommorrow and I will add the GM limited slip additive as well.
I think the Amsoil might be the right stuff...full synthetic as the KaaZ stuff is not...

actually i have a case in the garage.. my dad deals that stuff...kinda.. but its good stuff.. we run it in all our semi trucks.. and get absolutely great results.. fuel economy went up and overall smoothness of the 13spd trans's are nice..

This Amsoil stuff is very good in combination with the GM additive. This is my 3rd rear diff. oil change.
It took about 15 mins to mix though the diff. I did about a dozen figure 8 patterns to mix it up. The Amsoil/gm additive is quite a bit smoother than the Kaaz oil.
It's only on really, really slow turns that you hear the clutches popping. Some slow tight turns you don't even hear any diff noises at all.
Way to go AMSOIL 2000!
