87 fc gxl automatic

Yeaaaa checking my transmission fluid I see I need some but it was also dirty fluid. I saw light colors of brown ans black. Change my filter? Before I add more. How easy would you say it is

couldn't say as i've never owned one with an automatic. but if like any other automatic, it's pretty simple.
