talk to Jims5443 over at Nopistons. His TII had this conversion and its very nice. There are less expensive ways to achieve the same results

Almost $40,000 (typo???) invested in the car with a $700 cradle for the 13B-REW is not what I call cheap...

i saw the cosmo engine swap listed at the bottom of that page RETed is the engine as good as the FD's? cause i might beable to get a cosmo 13b a bit cheeper off ebay

The FD3S 13B-REW is the "best" 13B that Mazda designed.
The Cosmo 13B-RE(W) is comparable, but the FD3S 13B-REW is still a little stronger and better internals.
