The new style!

I have begun the preparations for the new motor today. I am having AZRR build me a S5 T2 streetport motor. The internals will consist of S5 T2 rotors, renesis E-shaft, FD stationary gears with 10 window bearings. The rotating mass is going to be balanced. All seals are factory Mazda parts.
The side housings will be ported and ground. I am going with new S5 rotor housings(that will be ported too) , oil pump, and oil pan. I am going to run S4 front cover and water pump. I have Corksport SS oil cooler lines and clutch line for it. The clutch is a ACT 6 puck with their high performance pressure plate. I also purchased some Mazdaspeed motor and tranny mounts for the new beast.
The turbo is going to be a Garrett 60-1 oil bearing setup with a Tial 44mm wastegate all mounted to the motor via 321 SS tubular manifold. The manifold and turbine housing are going to be coated by Polydyn. The wastegate is going to be run open dump. Boost is going to be controlled by a Profec-B.
The fuel system is going to consist of : a Walboro 255, SARD rising rate FPR, 720cc primaries, 1000cc secondaries. It will be controlled be a Haltech E6K.
I started some of the fab work today for the monster fmic! I am going to modify the stock bumper to fit it all in there. I am going to be running a Apexi twin chamber bov and a Greddy tb elbow.
Cooling will be controlled through a Koyo rad and a flexalite black majic electric fan. The battery is going to be relocated into the passenger bin and all acsessories will be powered through a Painless Wiring curcuit isolator.
That is all I can think of right now. i will update this thread as progress continues.

looks good, but id suggest against the Apexi twin chamber. I had one on my AWD TSi and it sucked bad. The damn thing used to leak all the time, and would never propperly blow off. they are notorious for leaking with high boost(read over 15psi).

15psi is about as high as I will go on this car. I should be able to put down 375-400whp without going over 15psi.

Exactly which manifold are you using? Who makes it? And how will the downpipe connect, a vband? I am starting to think about this because I am wondering if it will be possible to reuse my 3" downpipe that I have for the stock manifold (although I doubt it).

also the turbo... what A/R hotside? What size wheel?

Wish I had the cash on me at the moment for a build. My engine is on its last breaths and the car needs alot of work to be at the point I want it (at least $3,000 worth). Watch those Corksport Oil Cooler lines. ive never used them personaly but Ive heard of some people having problems with the build quality of them. They tend to leak and blow apart. Looks great otherwise. Good luck on the build up

It is a .96 hotside. I am not sure where the manifold is being made.

I have also decided to go with a custom secondary fuel rail and 1680cc injectors instead of the 1000cc injectors. This will allow me to turn up the boost a lot higher and put down a lot more power!

I hope so? It should be a street monster without a doubt. I am planning on doing the ecu and engine swap in one weekend though.

Here are some pics of the irons that have been resurfaced, painted, and the primaries have been ported. The secondaries should be ported tomorrow, or early next week!
