so i been searching here and i found a couple of pics of this but i cant find a write up. its problem pretty simple but id like an idea on what im doing. i seen one pic where the guy split the lines going to the fpr instead of running them normally (filter-primary-secondary) what is the best way and what kind of fpr should i look for. im not lookin to pay LOTS of money but cheap isnt always the answer either so...... and do you tap where the stock fpr used to be and use a banjo bolt? i really dont know what the hell im doing. help.

 

I just took out the stock fpr and ran a new line to the new fpr. After the fpr I ran the line to the stock return line with two fuel line clamps.

 

S5 or s4?

 

Try the REted parallel fuel mod.. My fuel runs to both rails in parallel, then they return to the FPR and then a single out from the FPR to the tank.

 

When I get the money I will be finishing the rest of the fuel lines. Like how J-rat has his run.

 

its a s4. now how is the stock fpr hooked to the rail? is it a threaded bolt of somesort??REted parallel fuel mod<<< this is what i MIGHT attempt.although stupid *** me use rtv for the uim to lim and will need to get a new gasket. and special type you recommend?? im lookin to spend around 100. cheaper if i can get away with it

 

I grabbed an S4 secondary rail from the junkyard today to see if it would fit my S5 and make it any easier to convert to an adjustable FPR. The FPR on the S4 turbo fuel rail does use a threaded connection... but on the S4 NA rail it uses a flat flange with a fuel injector connector that slides into the end and is held on by to bolts. Maybe this hole can be tapped? or maybe I can find someone who can weld an aluminum fitting on the end for me.

 

The stock FPR is best removed while on a vise. I replaced it with a 12mm x 1.25 AN fuel fitting that came with an o-ring found at ANplumbing.com the ran the line to the aeromitive FPR mount to the firewall via custom bracket.

BTW how are you guys posting pics directly on the thread? Is it through websites only or can I do this with jpg files in my paintshop folder?

 

I highly sugest the addition of a PD on each rail or atleast the S.

ok you can take your secondary rail and take the stock fpr out and put in a banjo bolt from an s4 n/a primary rail. Mine is a little differant as i have a jspec rail witch complete oposite of the aspec. Anyways here is what i did.
