Bluerex i was only stating that that someone should give an update, rather than we are waiting from our suppliers, also i was only pointing out that people have been dropping off the list because the communication hasnt been very up to date.

This thread began with such promise! Now I think someone was telling Ramy what he wanted to hear.

Point taken, but the fact of the matter is Ramy and I live busy lives off this forum. He is a med school student and I am a student with a regular job. Our time, unfortunately, is very limited these days. The only reason I have been able to regularly communicate this past week is because it was spring break.

We always try to follow through with our commitments (Ramy sent an email 3/21 for an update just as he promised, but didn't receive a response and has since followed up with still no response), but it is very demoralizing for us when people are not understanding and try putting pressure on us when we are already doing our parts.

One thing to always remember with us is that when relevant info is available we post it.

So you have a business and can't commit. Bad customer service. That is why I went with rx7.com.
Thanks Robert

I can understand this. I know it really sucks to have someone tell you something and have it be stated to you so you can tell your customers that a certain product will be available at a certain time. Then have it not be there, or the person never gets back to you.

I understand ramy's position and your position this has been a part time business and your other jobs take priority. Its just frustrating to us the customer when a material is not in and plenty of time has been given for that product to get in.

Im just hope that you can find out whats going on with this and hope that we can get it soon, since it is already april 1st.

I do have a small update for you guys now. We received a response saying the units were delayed until the end of April. We responded asking for clarification on whether this was the FC Datalogits themselves or just the USB adapter. We'll let you know once we get a reply .

You must see the irony in posting something like this when you actively defend a certain seller on this site with a questionable customer service record. This also happens to be somebody I've called out before and who you seem to have some sort of business partnership with. Hmmmm....

Don't bother posting a response, this thread will soon be moderated!

Dude you got issues. I own my own business and have a family. I still have the time to take care of my customers. Your response is a poor excuse!!!!!! Yes I defend a true friend. And yes I have business ties with him. So this means Im calling you out. Give good customer service or don't sell anymore . Waiting a month to hear from the vendor indicates your not interest in selling!!!!!
Thanks Robert

I know Ramy and I trust him. It's not always easy being the "middle man". Even if this group buy falls through, I know the people involved did they're best and it won't effect my opinion of them. Sometimes **** happens. But of course I still really want my DL!

Hey guys

A few things...

1) I typically don't post up updates until they're available. When nothing is available, it's kind of pointless to post up "hey guys I don't have an update yet, but I just wanted to keep you updated!" dontcha think?

2) Robert, if you're not interested in doing business w/ us, please stay off of our threads. I have ZERO tolerance for your attitude & behavior, esp. when you obviously have difficulty reading. This is a GB *INTEREST* thread. We haven't taken orders or made *anything* official yet. So don't come on here disrespecting BlueRex or myself talking about customer service. That's one type of customer I simply am not interested in dealing with. So again, please stay off our threads.

3) To everyone else, thanks for your patience. I couldn't post up anything until I knew for CERTAIN that the stock for this large of an order was indeed confirmed. And it HAS been confirmed Plus, the USBs are in! They're still $25 a pop, however, so it's up to you guys if you'd like to order them as well. The good thing is, you wouldn't have to pay shipping twice, as they'd be shipped w/ your Datalogit unit.

Since we're a go, lets make this GB official, and BlueRex will be back on here shortly to post payment and pricing info, so we can get things rolling.

Thanks!

Not to be a dick, but rx7.com sells it for 339 and that comes with "information regarding ETA and/or status".

With the amount of interest this thread generated, I was hoping for a better discount then $1.90. Infact, after shipping I think it's actually more.

Stupid question. Do I add the $5 echeck fee to the total I send you, or does Paypal automatically charge me $5??

Groupbuys can be cheaper, but not always very cheap. They take more time and efford from the initiator. But it is nice people and companies do start GB. Look at it as a service, it saves you from hassle and time, so discount prices are nice, but they´re not always that much cheaper.

If you don´t like it, buy one directly or from someone else, you have a choice

No offense intended

1) It IS cheaper. I'm selling the units for less than the competition. 2) Why the surprise at the price? I clearly posted in beginning of the thread that the price would be in the low $300s. $325 is in the low $300s, is it not? Or are you expecting international shipping and insurance to be free? 3) The purpose of this GB was my ability to secure a large stock, when the competition cannot. There are literally MONTHS of wait time on these units. Look in the FS section; see how long ppl wait for 'em.

Also, re: the price, I can get the price even cheaper, but that would entail shipping them via a freight method that would NOT fully insure each unit. That's irresponsible IMO. But hey, if that's what you guys want, I can do that. But I'd need something in writing to remove all responsibility of any mishaps or incidental damage during transit from me.

In short, there's always a tradeoff, and some customers always want something for nothing. I'm trying to offer something that's VERY hard to come by for as low a price as I can. If that's something that interests you, great. If not, you're MORE than welcome to go to the competition as Mireck mentioned. But good luck securing a unit.

~Ramy

PS: A second reminder in 2 pages. NO MENTION OF OTHER VENDORS IS ALLOWED IN OUR PRIVATE FORUM SPACE. Thank you for your cooperation.
