Hi again, I'm a little new to the forum. Does anyone know if the group buy is for genuine FC-Datalogit units from New Zealand?

Does the purchase include support and access to the user group?

Yes, i believe these are brand new units. I don't think fdnewbie would pass off used as new.

please clarify if the USB version is nothing more than a USB to Serial adapter cable.

It is just a USB to serial adapter, but some USB to serial adapters don't work so it's advisable to get the one that the datalogit comes with. They tested it and it works best from their experiences...

Ari, the units are in stock w/ my supplier (I reserved a large # of them), but they will be shipped to me first prior to being shipped to my customers (my supplier doesn't ship individually).

it's expected, everyones eyes are always bigger than their wallets. I'd be lieing if I said I hadn't been on an interested list and not followed through. Hell I almost didn't end up following through on this one because of paypal moving my money around incorrectly!!!
