I don't think it really matters either way. I imagine most people's laptops have a USB port - it just depends on whether USB is the *only* option or if it's the same deal with the cheapo adapter.

If it's better to get all of them the same model for the group buy, that's all good. I'm sure the group pricing will offset the extra USB cost by far. Which version doesn't matter to me in the least.

Just let me know the price and where to send the money

I'll be down for this GB if I can get my damn tax money back and get a PFC before they're discontinued. Not much sense in getting a datalogit if I don't have a PFC.

Ok guys, here's where we're at. It looks like the vast majority of you want the USBs with the Datalogit units. So in an effort to keep this as simple as possible (for our sake), we will be waiting for about 10 more days for the estimated USB arrival date w/ the supplier to come. At that time, the GB will move forward, regardless. If the USBs are in stock and a price is available, we will offer them to you. If not, we will continue the GB w/ the standard serial connectors as planned. I know many of you are anxious to get the GB going, so I don't want to draw this out any longer than it need be.

Could you please elaborate on this statement? Is the USB intergraded or is it still the serial to USB converter? What else is/was upgraded?
