Well.......

******* **** **** ***** mother ****** **** suckers, dumbass ******* track clean up ****.

LIl story before I blow up real good. I decided that Last week it was time to put the FC on the track for some higher speed testing. So myself along with a couple of friends rent the local with a couple other guys testing that daywhich is only a 3/8ths mile track, but would work for what I need. We rented the track for half the day starting at 10am before it got to hot. Everything is going great, 0 problems from the car, the motor is working excellent and has plenty of power. 2nd gear is amazing, feels like its never going to end and is very responsive. So I get the suspension sorted for the day and start making faster and faster passes. I am still in 2nd gear. Well in between my runs a mustang in the hobby stock class goes out and pops a motor, the track clean up guys get it all cleaned up and its all good. A couple of classics go out and it looks fine. I decide to go out again but I really needed to test the car in 3rd. SO I go a couple of easy laps look the track over and it looks ok from what I could see.

On my 4th time around I go into turn 1/2 and start gassing it, go into 3/4 in 3rd and let the rear end go. Car is great no problems, I gas it down the front stretch, let he go maybe 50 ft before turn1, going to the turn its good, I go for more angle then I feel the front just let go. It slides up the track, I keep on the on gas not nailing, just enough to keep the car from snapping, It seems to work and I start coming back down the track, it then right after the rear just loses it. I am traveling backwards now into the exit of turn 2. Cant get stopped and BAM. Rear end into the wall hard. the car bounced up onto the wall a bit and just stopped there.

I get out of the car pissed and just start throwing things, cussing swearing, the works. They pulled my car off the track and I go and have a seat in the back of an ambulance to get checked out. After that we go and take a walk around the turns 1/2 to see just what happened. Turns out there was oil in the cracks of the track that didnt get cleaned up and ozzed out from the other cars and myself going over the surface. I was just the "lucky" guy that found this out. The ******* things that kills me though is that this was in 2 different spots, one higher on the track and one near the bottom.

So here I sit, car is back in the body shop again, after just getting out, and I have a sore side, **** ya I love mondays.

Well this type of **** happens. Just wish it would have happened after I was going to take the car across country to the streets of willow.

I am going down to work on the car later this evening. It is not nearly as bad as my baby was when I wrecked it. I just have to get another rear fender, and pull out the dents and get a new tail, and hatch glass. I have a rear subframe laying around just incase, I am just hoping it didnt tweak the frame to bad.

I am also going to start making molds and spares for my fenders a such that way I always have a backup.

Dont' feel bad, I macked the wall yesterday at a drift event. I need a front bumper, fender, and head light&cover. It makes me mad because I should of been in 3rd gear and not 2nd. I ran out of gearing and it made the snap. I sorta laid into it so I just grazed the wall instead of full on into it. I didn't even get out to look at it right away because I would be SUPER pissed about it then. I just kept driving and looked at it when I went to change the fronts.

Well I am not sure if that is better than the S2K or not.

We got all the body panels offthe rear quater that was hit, turns out that I may have junked my trans. We put the car up in the air and noticed a big leak from the back of the dogmission. It looks like the rear subframe pushed everything foward in the drive line including the driveshaft into the trans. I am just hoping it didnt break something.

The S2K was to hold me over until the FC was done. It got finished, so I can start driving something normal and more space.

LOL, It's cheaper to drill the spot welds are weld new metal in from a parts car than put another 2k + in cage work into a shell and swap everything over.

I'm sorry for your loss, wonder if it looks anything like Damiens car did.

No where near that bad, hell it is not as bad as the devil7 wreck, and we had to graft a new front section onto it. The bad part is just the midebody parts and getting it all lined up and like I said I am worried about my new trans.

Well the trans is kinda ok, I am taking it apart today to see if anything is wrong. Ive been real busy with some other things that i have not had time to work on this at all. Between fixing up a POS late model dirt rack car, working on my dirt track car, family matters, and work slowing down I have not done anything besides make a couple of new panels for the rear, and they are not even painted yet.

should have just welded a peice straight down from the rear windshield. leave the rear wheelsl partially exposed. that would have been badass.
