Steering wheel hub ?

I was wondering on a drift car would it be a good idea to use a quick release hub or would it come off. I was looking at the NRG quick release hubs, does anybody know how good there products are. Or should I just use a standered momo wheel hub?

I really like the nrg quick release v 2.5 I had one in my old s14 mated with an nrg short hub and I'm going to get the same setup in my FC.

So here's a +1 for the nrg quick relsease + short hub

I hear nothing but good things. I think they are good for a drift car, street car, track car...whatever. If you have a fixed bucket, cage, want cool points and need added theft deterrent it's good for that too. NRG makes solid products at a great price.

Just dont get one of those cheap *** no-name ones on ebay. They are ****. Friends dont let friends let friends buy one of those things for x-mas presents.... Jb weld and some self tapping screws is the only way to fix them pretty much AND defeats the purpose of the q/r hub entirely.

I tell yah though. There's no bigger rush than having your steering wheel come off in your hands while driving.

i have a full NRG wheel quick release and hub, the only thing is with the hub it wont work unless you cut down your turn signal cancelation piece. other than that its perfect. i love mine

+1 on that. i had to trim down mine as well but it's WELL worth it. fixed back racing seats suck to get in and out of without a quick release when you drive as close to the steering wheel as i do. or your fat like me too lol.

True. I need to jump on a q/r hub as well. I can get in and out of my car fine. I just want my wheel closer and the cool factor of a q/r.

i rock a works q/r with a momo steering wheel and i have not had any problems. Given im always doing last minute checks to make sure all my bolts are tight and stuff. but as long as you keep an eye on the little stuff you should never have an issue.
