I'm registered for the after comp drifting. I don't have the cash for a full cage and seat yet.

Now I gotta figure out why the damn FC decided to not start last night.

i heard you just need a roll bar and door bars right? It doesnt have to be the full FD legal cage.
and FIA seat and harness...

I hope this is the casee, i dont have a fd legal cage yet

Here are the rules
http://www.allstarcarbattle.com/form...quirements.pdf

ROLL CAGES
a minimum of 4 point rollbar plus 2 door bars are REQUIRED for tandem competition. If
you do not have a compliant cage you may enter competition, practice and qualify BUT
no tandem will be allowed.

sean might make it if he gets the cage put in... hes got like 66ft of chromoly just sittin at the crib.

wonder if the fuel cell needs a firewall and ****, if so he would have to pull that out, sell it, then have a surge tank made and install that and the gas tank.

or box the cell in.

i need too much ****. idk if my bride seat is a knock off, cuz no sticker. a suit, helmet, and cage is at least a thousand bucks.

ive driven west track though, ***** fun!!! only 2nd gear too, the straight away is 3rd but i dont think thats in the judged turns.

Is there a map with the Start/Finish line?

I think I read surge tanks need a firewall. Not sure about fuel cells

I do 3rd on the first section and then downshift to 2nd at the tight right turn before the U.
I wish they were starting further back.
I start at that first turn and do a quick manji into the tight right.

here's a crappy vid of the course.

This weekend im going to upload my map back onto my haltech... if it runs fine then im going to start on the cage.

if the fc runs like **** after i load the map, then the haltech is prolly fucked.

Sucks my bride seat has no FIA sticker on it... i heard that the JDM ones dont have it????

if i dont make it, then im going to help my bro get out there...

A local will when this!!!!

lol at XDC no one even looked at my seat sticker or cage.... they failed me on tech for my 5th harness not being in the car.... so you should be alright.

they litterally were like:

"cage - check, approved seat - check, harness bolted correctly - check, 5point strap.....where the **** is your 5th point"

lol. its a bride. hell even if its a knock off its still made in the same building lol. you should be cherry. goodluck with the haltech **** though.

its gunna be sweeeeeeettt..

Real excited..

Just ordered a sfi harness ,and driving suit.. I still need the shoes tho..

Message George or Joe if you're worried about rule book issues. They'll probably be fine with what you have.

Its been brought to our attention that people are afraid of the "rulebook"

PLEASE dont hesitate to contact myself or george about rule questions! we are VERY relaxed on the book versus other organizations. basically if you have a cage, suit, seat, belts and helmet you can tandem. if you DONT have that stuff you are MORE than welcome to still come and drive! theres over 16 hours of seat time to be had for under $200!!

^^You can run whatever you want, but as far as I know, you need the haltech sensors to make it work correctly.

It's slightly rainy today.

The temps should be really nice.
There's word of afternoon/night rain tomorrow but we'll see if it hits that part of the valley. I'm over in the area now and it's all to the west of here.

A word of warning. If a storm does come through. Make sure a rim or two are holding your tent down. We get crazy wind gusts right before the rain.
