The OFFICIAL post pics of your Drift Car thread:

pretty haggard I know but finally after a year im getting this bitch up and going again. Should have injectors here so I can do break in inside of a week and new coils wheels paint and a non fubar rear bumper in a month.
yea i've been waiting on my friend. drifted it some tonight, and drove super conservative trying to keep it pretty for a few days. im really not trying to ***** it out until i get a photo shoot, or some kind of small time coverage on it.
anyways, it's finally 100% complete now:

threw the banner on for my personal drooling. i've always looked at haraguchi's FC and wanted my car to be similar. well now that it's done i can say i came as close as i could have to getting it the way i've always dreamed it to be.

I'm with this. they're self tappers. i hate rivets, plus it makes life easy when you have to remove stuff. but yea idk i feel like the car is already in red overload mode hahaha
i still need to mount the rear bn, and paint/mount the front, and rear mouldings. no door mouldings though. decided to keep it clean.
i wire wheeled all of the rock chip crap off the lower part of the doors, and rocker panel thing under them. came out like glasssZZSZZSZ
haha thanks guys! drift videos SOON! waiting for the 20th to get to the dyno, and sort out the tune.

How annoying. I mean I have an NA with headers a high flow cat and an apexi N1 and that doesn't bother me. I meant the stiff rubber ones, not the solids.

lulz, it doesn't actually work unless you've got some way to push air through the engine bay, the engine bay is a low pressure area so it will actually suck air in through that gap. It doesn't actually let hot air out unless you're sitting in traffic which, by the looks of his car, won't happen much.

Lol, well it seems pretty obvious to me how it works. If you have a hood like buckeys with the huge vent on it. It would be harder for air to flow in if there wasn't a place for it to flow out. It's like blowing in a bottle. Its not gonna let alot of air flow through it. Then if you drill a hole in the bottom of the bottle and blow into it, you actually get more than 5% of that air going in.

I have a decently big turbo, so who really knows. I built it because it looks and sounds cool.
I'll throw pictures of my **** up after I fix the crack in my oil cooler. I've decided I don't like my car without a wing too so I might be getting some cad drawings water jetted and ****. I'm thinking something similar to supernow stands with less shooting star and more **** or something the whole family can appreciate.

i have real time gains in under hood temps proving that your entire statement is 100% off.
the hood is raised in the rear for looks primarily, however as you know drifting is mostly sideways, and with it being raised, air does get into the rear sides of the hood. it does not act as a cowl as some people think when driving straight even. even if you disregard my entire post, then consider this: if it didnt work Dmax, BN, Super made ETC all wouldn't sell rear vented hoods.
sitting in traffic there would be no way air could leave obviously as like you said there is no pressure at that point. plus my vmount fan is pointing straight at the ground for the most part.
i'm so sick of internet nerds posting about **** they have never experienced in real world situations.
