Battlecat's fd is going to be soooo ******* tasty when it's done!
I bought my dtss elims for $45 shipped from someone on here who bought em and sold their car before even getting to install em. MMR delrin's me thinks.... They get the job done. Hit up the classifieds with a wtb. You might get lucky like i did. Paid $75 for a mazdatrix ballin *** anodized top of the line camber adjustment bar that really doesn't do **** but **** up my car's alignment. Also found it in the classifieds.
Pics are long gone. Someone hacked my photobucket and due to some female drama etc....i deleted my myspace. So yeah. I has nothing. Ilia has said diff now. Aparently he loves it. But yeah, just beer cans for the diff i had. Not all of them are the same. I had to hunt and hunt and hunt until i found out i had re-amemiya ish s4/s5 clutch lsd's have different springs. Um, pretty much the easiest way to do it is just throw whatever you can in the thing in a spot it's not going to get ground on....
There's really no "super technical" way i do **** to my cars anymore. Sometimes i get into tech but for the most part i dont care and do whatever i think will get the job done. It DID but i like the fully locked feel of a welded personally. It's awesome. Jebus threw an extra clutch disk in his to fully lock it and loved it.

I used to slide before this dumb bitch ran me off the road (interstate, NOT sliding) , its comin up on 2 years and I still haven't gotten my girl slide-ready yet....soon though. Clutch and shim the diff....btw, you have the pictures from when you shimmed yours? Found the drunken writeup lol, but the pics are dead (NoPistons)

that really helps cuz my wheels stick out from the quarter panel and have a 1/4 inch clearance.
also feels good when i took out the sways... no body roll... i can go on and on

So what are peoples thoughts on drift setups with low ride height. I hear all too often that it scrubs much needed speed when initiating drift. I assume that this is due to less suspension travel. Just curious.
I know for sure that I love a really low FC especially one that drifts, like Illia from Risky. But in noticing the win hungry professionals within venues like Formula D with cars that don't have the most appealing of ride height, it seems like function again takes priority over aesthetic/style. Thoughts??

somone told me when you slam your car pretty darn good that it screws with your axis of rotation. idk how it would effect that but thats why he told me thats why the formula d guys arent slammed. idk. anyone else care to elaborate?

the only thing with having your **** too low is that the subframe is lower than the Lower Controll Arms and your rack and pinion is lower than the tie rod ends....

It's been so long since i've seen my oem sways. The front is thick obnoxious compared to the rear. Well, i pulled em out, hunted down the hardware and i'm putting the fronts on. After hammering the **** out of rub spots from angle+being low, i test fitted a wheel and went lock to lock.
I DO NOT have knuckles. Just eye candy secret element tie rods and megan racing ends (tie rod ends do not mess with angle, just toe and bump steer correction). **** hits the sway. W/E. I'll deal with it until the winter. With lower offset, and wider fenders, it shouldn't be an issue. I just dont want to pony up the cash for overs. That's $800 easy.... I want my eurolines/farmas damnit!
Any ideas how to tie up the speedo cable so that bitch doesn't get ripped out. I went "off track" and pulled the **** out of the cluster. Just reached under the car and there it was....
Anyway, if you plan on KEEPING sways and getting any kind of angle, you may need to get some wheel spacers/negative offset to the max, overs and possibly space the ball joint further away from the lca. **** is pissing me offfffffffffffffffff!
