Well new blood to the drift section is good. We need more cars, more insight, more inspiration, more **** talk, more sharing of ideas....etc....
More fb's, possibly done up gangster would be a treat to see.
Even people who have NO aspiration at all to head out to events (though i strongly encourage it) and just slide for fun wherever they can safely do so out of harms way should feel welcome here. Just dont disclose actual locations where you're hitting **** up.
Maybe more stories could be added on here?
I'm sure if my local drifting community was bigger i wouldn't care but rx7club got me started and pointed me in the right directions with my car, little tricks and tips, and what NOT to do so here i am.

I used to slide before this dumb bitch ran me off the road (interstate, NOT sliding) , its comin up on 2 years and I still haven't gotten my girl slide-ready yet....soon though. Clutch and shim the diff....btw, you have the pictures from when you shimmed yours? Found the drunken writeup lol, but the pics are dead (NoPistons)

I'll be occupying this section more when I have a car that slides good, and I get more practice...
Slowly... getting my vert drift ready. Very hard to do so when I'm on a broke student budget and its my only drivable car so if I break something I'm fucked.
But lsd and working ebrakes(woot!) are happening this week. Will be hitting up some drift days before the seasons over.

It's not supposed to get you far. It's supposed to be harmless fun....
I mean, if you're here to take **** super serious and be a homo there's always the drifting.com forums...... You can't say choice words we all love to say without them being censored. Most of the lurkers are FF's from the outside looking in.

yeah I just picked up an fc at the beginning of summer that I'm slowly building for my daily drifter, so far its a s5 n/a with kei office coilovers and it should have a welded diff in it in the next week or so

As far as getting jewed out of sliding, sorry to hear that. I bought a shitheap and decided to fully build it to my enjoyment specs before REALLY taking it out. Another week and a half or so (depending on weather b/c i still have a few small things to wrap up) it will be roughtly 2 years since i got my fc. I've slid it alot but not with a tag or at events. I'm pretty excited actually. Hope you get back up shortly.

His engine is stock he does however has a suspension setup similar to Kentetsu's. A lot of REspeed stuff. http://re-speed.com/ Coilovers, front cross member, etc...
Oh and check out http://www.stockton99.com/schedule.html typically every 4th Sunday of the month they have drifting. It's at Stockton speedway so it isn't terribly far from you.
