MR2 power steering pump into FD3S

I would really like to improve my current steering situation. Right now i dont have power steering, but I was gathering all the parts i need to hook up the OEM pump back up when i discovered the MR2 electric power steering pump. Has anyone tried installing this pump?

Idk if increases steering ability in any way i think its just benifical b/c its electric so its one less thing for the crank to power.

Ah ok....well I dont have PS right now and Im probably gonna go this route.

this link shows you how easy it could be. Last time i drifted the FD it was with no PS and it was really slow in transition. Im used to whipping s13's around and the FD was nothing like that. I would like to improve on my cars ability to transition a lot easier. I have look at the manual REX rack, but the price of that is steering me into a different set up.

Well damn.....thats BA. Im gonna go the same route as you but on the FD. Ill report back when its all done and provide feedback. I know matt powers is running this same set up on his Formula D s14 with an LS7. If it works on his car at the pro level Im gonna give it a shot on my car.
