MR2 power steering pump into FD3S
I would really like to improve my current steering situation. Right now i dont have power steering, but I was gathering all the parts i need to hook up the OEM pump back up when i discovered the MR2 electric power steering pump. Has anyone tried installing this pump?

Idk if increases steering ability in any way i think its just benifical b/c its electric so its one less thing for the crank to power.

Ah ok....well I dont have PS right now and Im probably gonna go this route.
this link shows you how easy it could be. Last time i drifted the FD it was with no PS and it was really slow in transition. Im used to whipping s13's around and the FD was nothing like that. I would like to improve on my cars ability to transition a lot easier. I have look at the manual REX rack, but the price of that is steering me into a different set up. http://www.scionlife.com/forums/showthread.php?t=195962 |

I have it too. you can follow my write up in my sig. it shouldn't be any different other than thread pitches into the rack.

Well damn.....thats BA. Im gonna go the same route as you but on the FD. Ill report back when its all done and provide feedback. I know matt powers is running this same set up on his Formula D s14 with an LS7. If it works on his car at the pro level Im gonna give it a shot on my car.
