I would HIGHLY recommend a real kit.

Yes, ebay. $450 shipped for bn knock and you WILL kick your own *** for buying it.

I recommend origin over gp all day. Much sexy.

Real kits are 1k+. Thats such a waste of money when your going to just hit the wall or rip it off on the track anyways.

Fully agreed on the Origin over gp. lol

Then buy a knock off on ebay and enjoy fitting it.

You get what you pay for.

You'll end up paying pretty much the same thing once you factor in paying for someone else's time to make it fit properly.

Of course, you could fit it yourself, but what's your time worth?

Lol you guys are funny. I work in a shop that fits bodykits all the time. They really aren't that hard to make fit properly. And if your worried about getting **** that doesn't fit don't get it from ebay, get it from a company that has some type of guarantee or whatever.

I dont speak for the group. This is why it's an OPEN FORUM. OTHER PEOPLE can post and give advice too to help someone make decisions based on MULTIPLE opinions. You want to argue, fine. Argue. I bought a cheap kit from a random ebay seller (qualityaero to be exact...******* joke) and it fit like absolute **** because however they made their mold was ****. Understand this. ANYONE and I repeat, ANYONE can buy a kit, clone it and sell it on ebay for $$$. All the supplies and knowledge are readily available on this thing called the internet.

Maybe i should have recommended raceonusa or extreme dimensions. Their stuff is strong, fits halfway decent and requires very little prep work. They seem to use common sense when making their molds. Possibly doing "on the car" molds which is the RIGHT way short of using laser 3d rendering.

****, i even went as far to post a link showing how **** my ebay kit fit and how much i've had to do to make it fit. I didn't have to take pictures or even INFORM people about it, but i took the TIME to do so to possibly help someone.

You want to know where to get kits??? youre in Oregon right????

Somewhere in cali you can pick up some really good fitting Aero for cheap.

i drove there and met up with Forrest and got 2 complete kits with dmax fronts for $1000.

there was the choice of BN or Origin. Same spot

Getting knockoff kits to fit 101% perfecto for some gay *** hard parked drift car may be a bit of effort, not loads though, deffo not enough to justify the extra cash for genuine IMO.

But getting it to fit good enough for a drift car is piece of ****, few hours tops with minimal tools and minimal skills, ive done it enough times, and I suck at bodywork.

Consdering how massively fucked bodykits get when drifting, youd be nuts to pay big money.

My FC has a genuine BN Sports kit on it, and look at it now, its pretty fucked...

One things for sure, once its destroyed so bad I cant even repair it, its being replaced with a knock-off kit.

reglass that.

Ziptie stitches look pretty lame after one event. Plus your car is too nice for that.

I have reglassed it a coupla times, then end up smashing it next time out. Until I do some serious paint screwing damage, im leaving it stitched as that takes me 10min, sick of fixing it now.

Maybe I should just crash less, lol

dude thats crazy. my bro slammed into a tire wall in a febuary drift event. fucked up the dmax fender, the bn front, sideskirt, and rear bumper, also the door. ***** straight as an arrow after one day of fiberglass repair.

another time he ripped off the rear in a puddle of water. it grinded that **** down to nothing. he had to glass the beveled edge and all that ****. looks as good as when we bought it.

not saying that taking your time wont pay off, just saying its taking a while to fit your **** bro.

Yeah. I've been working on it here and there. I'm a fiberglass virgin. You couldn't tell? I had to ask you guys how to put my roof wing on and how to make my aero lay flat.

Anyway, it's pretty much done. I just need to finish the skirts and i ran out of resin. I'll pick some up tomorrow and get those bastards done this week if i have time.

Yeah, i'm taking my time.

Repairing aero that FITS already is mad easy. You just drill a hole where the crack stops and lay down the mat/hair/resin, sand a bit and you're done. Everything is going to lay pretty much flat anyway. I have to make NEW curves and build entire sections from scratch. Large sections. Mainly where the aero wraps around the body in the wheel arches. All that **** was WRONG. I'm telling you, their damn mold shrank or they just suck dick at making them.

Get the new **** JTP has... its from fatboy... but it fit 10000000x better than the last one I fit.

Origin is probably the WORST kit I've fitted, as they gel coat in all the corners way too thick, and it cracks the **** off before you can even paint it.

But, fact of life : ziptie repair always looks like a pile of dicks.

If you have a heat gun, some fiberglass, and a piece of 80 grit sand paper, you can make ANY knockoff kit fit almost perfectly in a day. Unless you are a ******* retard.
best response lol
