pretty much cut and go widebody

New Sponsor Announcement. www.donlysonautoconcepts.com/

The Jeff Jones Racing team has put a lot of time, money, and heart into this build thus far with the collaboration of CX Racing and Rotary-Works. With progress continuing to move forward, we wanted to find a paint & body shop that would put in as much effort and pride into this build as we have, so we turned to the best shop in so cal, Donlyson Auto Concepts located in 5079 N. Maywood Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90041. The owner, Francis Fabiculanan, has an extensive collection of trophies in his display room that belong to a countless number of award-winning show cars that carry his unique and flawless paint schemes. What better way to debut our drift car than with an exquisite paint job done by none other than this highly reputable shop.

Nice...How about the most important sponsor in drifting....Tires? We all know how important this would be to be able to compete with the big teams.

Here is the Red Baron at our Chassis DYNO.....he made 822Rwhp,not bad for a little bug engine on Race gas.He currently owns multiple track records and fastest bug in the world. This tune was set without pushing the engine, they have more in it
At our shop we do everything, from building Race cars to tuning chassis suspensions and engine dyno.

Here is the DYNO Video run.

I'm liking the rad setup alot. Looking foward to the electric water pump install.

With the v mount rads, how are you guys getting rid of air pockets?

Its actually an R154 which can handle twice the HP and torque than a W58 could.

The Rotary Works VMIC set up also includes an alum water reservoir that will sit as the highest point in the coolant system, thus making it possible to "burp" the system... I think this is what you were asking LOL

Yeppers. w58's come in mkIII's iirc. I'm sure cressies, chasers and old soarers had em too....

R154 is what i was told to get gaining info for a 1jz swap that never happened..... Bummer. Eddie, you should so do it! Dont make my cheap *** bet you a c-note you wont.

And do you mean "overflow tank" or is this just a unit in-line with the coolant-to-engine line?

Excuse my ignorance. I'm slowly picking stuff up and doing my best to learn. Thanks.

I can't wait to see this car in action.

The AST... best way to properly rid the coolant system of air pockets is to make sure the "fill cap" is the highest point in the coolant system to ensure the entire system has coolant up to that highest point... it has to do with gravity and such LOL

About the 1J...you might be out $100 in a few months
