TN This could take awhile FC V8 build

So I have been wanting to build a FC for a couple years and I have now started on one. A little about me, I love anything with wheels and I love to build stuff. I'm the type of person that gets more enjoyment out of building cars than driving them (to an extent). I currently have a jeep that I DD that I've been messing with for about 5 years and learned most my fab skills from working on it. My other car is a miata that I've had for about 3 years and it got me back into the import scene.

It has had many features and was on the cover of S3 magazine last year. Now its just sitting while I start this build. I had built a stretched/swapped ruckus last spring and rode it all summer and loved it then the FC bug bit hard. A local autoX guy mentioned he had a 302 FC project he want to sell for 3k that need some work to run right so I sold off the ruckus for a 2k profit and bought it. Shouldnt have broke my rule of buying someone elses headache, my fault.

Had it for about two months and never could get it going right and pretty much gave up on it. Pulled the motor and kept the assembled block, tranny and the grannys kit, and I'm still trying to sell the chassis fml. I came across a much cleaner shell with a ton of parts from two pairs of doors to overfenders and coilovers and bins of random crap. I bought it and started stripping it a couple months ago and started fabbing some stuff which is present day.

I'm wanting this to be a complete build, mildly built 302 aluminum heads, cam, ect.
Nice bay and interior, full PBM suspension, BN kit, and low. Me being poor I hope to have this done by this coming winter or spring. Not really planning on competing with this car but a ton of my friends drift and I'd like to try it out, my drifting know how consist of clutch kicking the miata here and there.

Here are some pictures of stuff because build threads suck without pictures.

The miata has had many looks.

and the current look of it with the CCWs

Here is the ruck I sold to buy the first FC

Interesting design for the rear strut reinforcement. Looking forward to seeing what other cool stuff you do with a bender and gussets

I'm digging the front strut tower gussets and the rear strut tower bar that ties into the floor. If I can fit that around my fuel cell, I just may have to steal that one from you! Nice work.
