This thing is coming back to life soon. Hoping to make the next event on november 18th right after sema. Been working like crazy to make this day come for awhile now, but here is why i've been lagging on spending $$ on the fc.

Since I've been MIA with the car build in Colorado, here are a few photos of some of the stuff that went down up there.

Pulled my new 13b-REW out of Grid-1 Motorsports Pikes Peak/Drift FC RX7 with the help of the shop owner, Don, as well as the old 13b-t from my personal FC.


Took the chassis to the car wash, sprayed out the 3 seasons worth of oil, dirt, and tire debris that was everywhere to make it easier to work on.

Made a mount based off the Grid-1 FC, and mounted it up with JR's help


Pulled the Intakes off, and started taping it up to paint it Satin Black, and noticed how huge the Irons were ported


1 thing cool about the S6 motor is the fact that they have a lot more vacuum ports, and coolant lines when compared to the standard S4 13b-t. The only downside - blocking off the ones you're not using. I must've made about 6 block off plates the first night.


Got rid of the stock wiring that i had tucked under my V-mount, and made a custom mount for the battery, and remote kill/power distribution block. So much cleaner inside the car with the Painless 8 Circuit Fused switch Panel, and race wiring.


Getting in on that Instagram cool kid hype. Just kidding, but here are some of the pics i tossed on Instagram.


I made some actual weld on tabs to the bash bar to mount the oil coolers as opposed to the last bolt on bracket idea which was cool, but not ideal. welded those guys up, and the finished result


Playing around with where to mount this thing. Originally i wanted it in the glove box, but Don brought up a good point about having to access it, in a seated/harnessed position. Was thinking of doing it on the upper cross bar on the cage, and running the wiring down, and Don pointed out a better spot on the cage door bar (at the floor) beside the seat which i really liked. But then got to thinking about there not being any weather stripping anywhere, and the fact that someone could potentially t-bone that spot (ironic huh) and could break the panel so i went with this spot for the time being. me breaking my $100 S5 center vents also added to this decision.... lol Ultimately I would like to build a carbon/carbon kevlar switch panel mount like the HKS JGTC/drift cars




Pretty much where I'm at right now. Was going to redo the i/c charge pipe to this i/c core, but i swooped a larger core @ Hot Line Performance and will be using that, with custom end tanks, as well as cutting out the bent core support and doing some dimple plate mounts for everything.



I've always had a pretty sketchy car, with some things either being on point, or no where near. for once, it's very close to being a seriously competitive car, and look rad (key part for me) thanks to Grid-1's efforts, so i am breaking the habit of rushing to make things happen. Don @ Grid-1 Motorsports helped a bunch with a lot of things throughout, and I'm beyond excited to get it going, and drive it. Thanks man! Hopefully be all squared away asap, and make another trip up for tuning/testing in the next few weeks.

UGH that dash is exactly what I want too :*( Need to find a good carbon/fiberglass guy now!

Haha im trying to blow up the shop on there! Lol

Yea i liked it, but the timing was off for me. I just got moved in, and the tags ran up on it so i decided to just sling it. I think its partially because now the fc isnt staying at friends houses out of my sight/mind and im seeing it everyday (having to push it around) really motivated me.

On a sweet note my manifold is getting a Tial 44mm gate right now, and i ordered a Haltech Platinum Sport 2000 Ecu/flying lead kit. Opens the door for other swaps later and got a really awesome deal. I'm beyond excited that this car is coming back together. After it not running since April. ...

Hell yeah! I want to see this thing competitive again! This car has been an inspiration for a long time

This just got back in. Ended up keeping the old flange... I guess for the brace but whatever. Need a new mani anyways.


Waiting on word for the iq3 racepak. Haltech shipped and should be here any day this week. I may hold off on the racepack for another week or so until i finish up some work as i just picked up this to rebuild, and sell, and got a call on a GTUs to sling also.

Got these guys in


Received my pulleys - sand blasted them, and then painted them this color. (Pic after paint didnt post to FB so i cant get url to post..)


Waiting on my endless pads, SS brake lines, and some haltech stuff to come in. Received the DTSS elims, and picked up stock front knuckles to prep, and send out to PBM tomorrow. They developed a super rad knuckle design with extended LCAs.

Not a whole lot left. Wanting to pull the motor out still now that work freed up some - and port match a center iron to go back to FC mounts. Also need to reseal the oil pan still and maybe buy a stud kit/brace for it

It's a divided t4 journal bearing turbo with .70a/r intake and 1.00 exhaust. Got it for a labor trade, to originally use just the wheels/housings on my 35r, but rent/life **** happened, and sold my real 35r ...
This is only temp. But theyre like $300 and i have a few friends with similar gsp turbos that lasted over a year - and get switched out for free whenever they do blow so we'll see. I'm just focused on getting it running.

I've tried contacting them about a set. I like those alot but i'm already equally invested into these... I need to order the center iron injector seats/diffusers, and the top feed sleeves. Everything else is coming.

Fuel surge tank, and twin 044 mount came in today. No pics until i get time to plumb it up.

Pulled the motor to reseal it. Contemplating drilling the center iron to run FC mounts/pan. The ports are too wild for me to try to match an fc center iron...

Going to do tubs, paint, and finish up the wiring.
