Missile cars are awesome. You need to have a decent car too though. I've had soo much fun in my beater miata.

thats sorta why i picked up this S13. it was a steal i couldnt pass up.

i needed a fun street car since i have 2 trucks already so i got this with the intentions of making it as nice looking as possible and get some links and spindles to drift it on weekends instead of taxing my FC setup all the time.

it needs alot of minor tweaking of the body panels to align better. the light tabs are broken so im going to mess with that today. im trying to buy different coilovers, and DMAX TypeIII side skirts/rear bumper if i can find it. sucks they left the US....

it's SR'd with a T28. stock ecu. idk whats going on with this thing but ive seen forrests stock t25 car throw down like 500 sets of tires and have no issues so when this popped up i bought it.

used my sema/xdc texas savings but it will be worth it. just going to clean it up. try to find some dmax type3 aero, and do the rear links, and spindles/tie rod spacers, and get some gauges and keep it a street car.

this makes it more enticing to drive the FC harder now. it will be nothing to jam a cage out in this car if i ever total the FC and need to get something together in 30 days as a last resort.

As for FC Justin Pawlak @hotline would be the best guy to contact for the exact specs.

There's a ginormous thread on Zilvia about spindle mod. I think I would just buy an angle kit if it were me though. Easy stuff. I've looked at powered by max http://www.gtfactory.jp/cms/page.php?15 and KPR http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1_Shluq8wAbefore

yea that is a **** load.

i just bought coilovers, pulleys, power enterprise belt, and some other misc links for it tonight off some friends.... im doing it wrong.... lol

going to do radiator, and get carpet/plastics, new dash, and a newer door panel and leave it alone. fun car though i must say. its better for street duties than the FC was.

this thread is dying. i'll interrupt for a moment and bring you guys up to speed on my street car progress since nothing is going on with the FC.

scored a full matching set of kei office coils from a friend to get rid of the mix matched ones i had.

1,000x better ride quality. still need to do an alignment. just waiting to weld the diff, and get new axles, and driveshaft and then get the car on a rack and dial it in.

anyways here's some photos. still nothing really cool going on. my FC still needs coil overs, and yet my 13 has went through 2 full sets of legit baller coils 3 weeks...

going to try to get down on ordering DG5's, or Stance XRs for my FC on the 30th and hopefully have it out for the mess around comp. not sure if i will drive 100% yet or not.

I can vouch for stance XR's they're so nice, im no expert but i feel a ton of response from the car and its very very predictable, event without deleting the DTSS, and if u go onto bumpy roads or courses it absorb everything really well with the softer settings, BTW i know its stupid of me kinda but I daily it!!!

I thought you were going to get a set of coils from K-Sport? I've heard of people swapping s13 coilovers into FCs. Not sure what needs to be done to make it happen, but if you have s13 coils sitting around it might make sense. Maybe Justin has an old set of DG5s sitting around (he's probably the only person who would)

justin might but he's super busy. i don't want to bug him over little stuff like this.
i could just swap the upper mounts i think. these kei office coils are 8k/6k. pretty much perfect rear settings for my fc. i should just order camber plates and bore out the spindle mounts. i dont mind the 13 being on godspeed.

i'm still considering the K-sports but just waiting to see what's going on with those.

i'm honestly just going to order camber plates and throw these Kei Office coils on my FC for now and let the S13 chill on whatever godspeed **** i can find.

i took the 13 out for a few runs tonight and even with the crappy vlsd it feels good on the new coils.

Bro just take your time on the fc. Save up and pick up some new coils for the fc.

I believe George has the Ksport GT Pro's.

my Buddy Vitaly sells Stance's if you don't have a dealer locally.

It might also be worth just asking Ksport about a hook up or discount for sponsorship. I know they're already working Corey Hosfords S13 but maybe they want to try and be the "Main" coilover for drifting. It can't hurt to ask.

Hey Buckey, when you paint your car do you just do the prep, and paint, then leave it? or do you do the sanding and polishing afterwards? Your paint jobs always turn out well on a low budget so I figured you'd be the man to ask.

my red car turned out like ****. i was paying to use a shop and got stuck outside in the dark. rushed the actual paint onto the car in a few hours the day before an event i still couldnt even drive in....

there's tons of fish eye spots in person from sand/dust blowing into the paint.

it all depends on how you do the car. my black car was a 3hr single stage quick spray. if there aren't any real blemishes don't mess with it. especially if it's single stage there's not much wet sanding you can do.

but to answer your question neither times i painted my car were they wetsanded, and buffed back out. just spray, and assemble.

it's going to get broken...

Yeah thats what I was wondering. I'm going single stage on my car. I've done a couple test pieces and they look good but it does have that orange peel look to it. You're right though I will be picking this crap up off the grass at englishtown, no need to get crazy on it.
