Also figured out why I had some fender rub on the left rear. Major toe in. I guess I should fix that before I do a roll so I do it in the right spot.

Probably going to paint on Saturday although I still haven't decided on a color yet. I change my mind every day.

yes seriously. get everything fitted awesome, and THEN worry about paint/prep. you prepping the car right now just means you will have to re-prep the car again fully once you're ready to spray

My toe was corrected with 1/4 turn of a ratchet and fenders taken care of via jack handle. Probably took 30 min at the most. Went to get paint yada yada yada I got it cheap with free pearl added. More on that later too tired.

your upper intake manifold looks like someone jizzed on-top of it. ran out of paint or is it meant to be like that?

looks like it should be fast though when its done. props for shaving it all.

What do you guys think, white enough? Or could it be brighter? You guys tell me. I also got a pint of pearl topcoat with hella flake in it. My shitty phone camera and no sun won't cathc the flake so I'll wait for a sunny day to take the pic of it.

Wanted to do something like these 2, but different...

I just wanted to do a beige and add a hint of yellow... it came out light yellow lol. I think the guy at the paint store mixed up his math a little because the sample he showed me wasn't as yellow but he hooked me up with free pearl (which you can hardly see on the car? maybe because its single stage?) and a discount. After the first coat went on I was about to take a DA to the whole car but my friends assured me it would look much better once we took all the newspaper & tape off. All in all I can't complain I think it looks much better than before. It still needs wet sanded and buffed. My buddy did a good job spraying the car it went on smooth. Color has been growing on me the past few days.

I think it will look better when the rear glass is re-tinted 5% like the side windows and the wing and mirrors are going to be gloss black.

Needs more black IMO. Like the headlight surrounds. Maybe do the moulding/trim in black.

I was thinking the same thing... I forgot to put the headlights down... at least I remembered to tape the lights off I'll probably pull the surrounds off and paint them black again. Black trim would probably look good too. Was thinking about doing the hood black again? Not sure yet, I'm wet sanding and buffing tomorrow. At this point I just want to drive.

i used the metalcast **** with the clear effects. turned out pretty nice. one side will be that purple/fuchsia color and the other metalcast green or red. i have a set of gold lugnuts as well just for the hell of it. all this **** should look douchey on a black car

So I picked up a set of S5 mouldings. They're black an in pretty good shape. So instead of painting them white I was thinking of painting the bumper trim black so it would kinda be an S5.4.

Car is white with black wheels so I think the black trim might work. Thoughts/Suggestions?
