Sure, bimmerman; attack the n00b status!

I am using my RX8club post count as my qualifications!

Okay, lets get this back to the original topic.
What are you thinking of bringing that's not a rotary?

Evo - more fun, less comfortable, no cruise control.

MS7 - more comfortable, more space for the pups, cruise control.

Still not 100% decided.

Drive the RX everyday from here on and get a feel for how well it is running. Take a weekend trip somewhere to get it running for a few hours to test it. Also run it hard near home and see how it holds up. If it is running well, bring the RX!

Just an update. Got my RX8 back down on the wheels. Even after 4 months, it fired right up! (I squirted about 20 mL of oil in each leading plug hole, pulled the fuel pump relay, and the car STILL started in less than a second.) I am still waiting on the MS bumper to come in, but that should be here end of this week or early next. I will not have a matching hood. Please do NOT mention that the hood looks like it was from the General Lee. Yes I know it is orange. Please quit mentioning it. It bothers me to no end.

Details of the work.
New 630cca battery
New higher rev starter (eliminates floods)
New coils (two were bad)
New spark plug wires
New silicone intake tubing on all pressure side joints (except one) to replace the GReedy crap
New intake filter (replaced more GReedy crap) and routed it out of the engine bay
changed oil
changed dif oil
Custom E-01 Mount on dash.
New Racing Beat 3 gauge pod replaced ash tray.
Ipod adaptor.
Fixed my loose AFR gauge pod.

Just got to detail and mount the nose.

Amazing how much better this car handles than any other car that I drive. (Dont get excited: I drive a Chevy Silverado and a Subie Tribeca.)
