Alcohol and DGRR! Everyone, Please READ!!!!
I need to make a very important point about this event.... I wished I didnt have to say this...
Unlike some other events out there, this event involves driving and driving on a dangerous/public road.
For that reason,...
I DO NOT support or encourage Drinking and Driving!
I need all of you to be smart and be responsible when it comes to Drinking.. PERIOD!!
That being said, I also can not say you can not drink on your own time. Please remember that THIS IS A DRIVING EVENT!!! If you are hung over next day, because you over drank, I don't consider you to be responsible!.
Also, If any of you are under age and I hear or see that you are drinking alcohol at this event (or event at Fontana village), I will personally contact the local LEO. And if any one supplies alcohol to minors, I will also report you to the local LEO. Remember that selling or giving alcohol to minor is a fellony!
I'm doing this not just to cover my ***, but also to avoid any problems at the event and after the event. Hope all of you understand that the reason for having DGRR is to enjoy the company of fellow Rotorheads and the drives. Balance of the two is what we are looking for and being stupid ruins it for everyone!
So, Bring what ever you want to bring but don't be selfish and think of others around you!
Thanks!

Phil,
Thank you very much for all you are doing! I myself never thought about how it would come across to encourage people to buy the vodka I had previously posted about. This is NOT an alcohol-related event. I apologize if I came across that way. For those who personally know me, know that I rarely, if at all drink alcohol.
I want to personally thank you on here for standing up for what is right, and let you know that I am 100% behind you. I will support you if anyone is doing something stupid at this event.
Respectfully,
Christina

No need to thank me... I know you meant to show the rotary community what you have found and NOT actually endorse people to bring it to the event and drink and drive.
When I first saw the vodka bottle, i thought it was pretty neat.. The shape and also the name... It wasn't until I saw the title again that some might get the wrong idea.
I don't want to sound like an old record player but, PLEASE becareful at the DRAGON! There are many accidents that occure at the Dragon each year and I want everyone to be FULLY aware and alert when you drive. Alcohols (or Drugs) will hinder your abilities to drive and it could ultimately means death! So, please be aware of this before you decide to go overboard on drinking..
Well, now less than 2 weeks until we will all meet up! So, get your car ready and see you all on April 20th!

^^^I just wanted to show my support. You are doing the right thing.
I titled the vodka thread wrong to begin with. I referenced it as "wankel vodka" in the lounge when I posted there about it, but I felt kinda dumb after posting the thread here since it doesn't let us edit the title...
