LMAO .. that moon poster is funny. Hey Phil I think we found the new logo for next year.... well I guess most people wouldn't get it though. Poor Chard, he is probably re-living the nightmare.

I knew I should have gone outside. That would have been funny to witness the saraning of the cars, but I guess mine wouldn't have gotten saran wrapped then. The aftermath of the scene was hilarious.

*Disclaimer* Thus far I've only read the first 3 pages of this thread...

Hey all, this is Marco--bone stock silver FD with the Illinois plate. It was great to be a part of this event, and I hope that it will continue for many years to come. To Phil and his "staff"--many kudos to all of you for putting this together and making it happen. Coming from flat-*** IL, it was a great experience to enjoy the beautiful scenery of TN/NC, and the great opportunity to meet fellow rotary owners as well as drive one of the most enjoyable/challenging roadways in the US of A.

I also gotta thank the guy in the White Firebird (sorry, I'm shitty with names), and the guy in the White FC tailing me Saturday morning. To White F-Bird guy, I was truly scared shitless to drive the Tail of the Dragon for the first time, at night. You pulling up behind me and chasing me didn't help any, but I had a blast nonetheless. Good times! White FC guy--same deal there. I was hoping for a slow "jaunt" on the Dragon from the NC > TN side, but your chase Saturday morning was a great test for my car; as a result, I'm looking to upgrade my suspension/handling. That was a blast! So even though both of you pushed me and my limited skills to the limit, I can't really thank you guys enough for giving me 2 scary, but equally fun runs through the Gap.

And to the sponsors--many thanks for the support. As its stands, a couple of you already have my business, and I'll be looking to patronize the rest in the future. Your support of this event is greatly appreciated, and I hope that it pays dividends to you all in the near and distant future.

It was the best time I've ever had. Every time i get to a twisty road i think of the Gap. Yeah, it was great I only spun once. Not too bad for my first time and for pushing my car way too far past its limits. Great time though.

My buddy who has a big truck that came with me, rode in the car with me, now wants a 7. IT'S ADDICTING!!!

Yeah, that was me. I got really lucky, the guy in the red REPU behind me was about a minute and a half behind the group and luckily there was no one coming in the other lane.
