Where are you getting the info from? I haven't seen anything on this yet. Admittedly I'm not the shiniest decoration on the tree. I definitely want to make it there again this coming year.

Thanks, but the link doesn't work unless you have an account and are a member of the group. I tried to set up an account last year to join the group. It was immediately hacked and I got insta-banned with no recourse because of big brother Facebook. Which really sucks. If I'm going to get banned, I would at least like to have been able to **** everyone off to earn it. The info isn't posted to the web page yet.

 

That sucks, reminds me why I hate FB so much. Anyway the dates are 23 - 27 Apr (Wed-Sun).

Stone Brook Lodge but I think it is full now. I would try Sleep Inn if you want to be close to the Stone Brook.

 

Yep, checked and there are no rooms left on those dates. How big is this place? Hard to believe there are that many people staying there from the group already.

 

Stone Brook Lodge is really nice, and is right in Bryson City. Great location, but not too many rooms. Anyway, my girlfriend and I are staying at the same tiny house rental we booked last year that was a short walk (like 200 feet) to the car show/brewery site. The owners/host has several other properties in various sizes in the Bryson City area that I'd highly recommend - homes are very clean & nice and not ridiculously expensive to rent. They list on AirBnB, but they also have their own listing site at https://livinvacationstays.com/ The advantage of booking there vs. AirBnB is lower middle man fees.

 

They were talking about having a place to stage a truck and trailer. Did that ever come through?

Registered also, been putting off going for close to 20 years, been to that area a bunch of times but never this event. This year is the year!

 

I booked at the Stony Brook lodge right after registration opened. I'm guessing based on the date of this post, they were holding all rooms until the registration was opened.

 

Checked again, still saying they are sold out on those dates.

Once again, I've proven that I'm not the brightest bulb in the arcade. For those of you that do not have Facebook access for the info, you have to call the Stonebrook lodge directly to make a reservation (phone number and reservation code is on your event registration email confirmation). They still have available space, but they blocked making reservations online.
