Can't wait for this. Have been down to that area a bunch of times but never for DGRR so this will be awesome. I'll be there in my 83,
I will be on the lookout for you. After talking to you over the years it will be nice to finally meet you. I will be bringing my 1988 SE again this year as my SA is a perpetual garage ornament.
1988 SE just like it came off the showroom floor and staying that way

Posted in the wrong thread earlier so I wanted to post here and since the last pic of this thread is a 1st gen, I'll also post about our 1st gen that we will be bringing with the 4 rotor FD.
1st gen has a T2 subframe with T2 engine sway. The car hasn't been on the road in the past two or three years but we plan on working on it this wknd.
Nope. I need to replace a seeping oil cooler line and get an alignment. I also saw a few coolant drips- I'm hopeful there's no leak that will need a last minute repair!
I love both cars Johnny. The FD is looking fantastic polished out!
Thanks!

Do you know what your oil temps usually get to and at what temp do you start to worry when you take a long road trip and creeping along in traffi?
Trying. I had to replace the clutch, brake master cylinder, and brake pads (none of which were overly cooperative). Compounded out the paint and applying fresh wax so I can leave in a couple of days.
Almost done prepping. Replaced all fluids (still have coolant left to do). New Falken Azenis rt660+ tires on my 15 inch Konigs. A complete rewiring of the fuse box and assorted ignition/fan/fuel pump/headlights.
Can't wait to see everyone again.
Old pic with Konigs with old tires on it. I replaced the old TFI coils in this pic with new ones. Made 3 harnesses; dizzy to HEIs, HEIs to coils and fan with temp controller. The fuse box has 3 minirelays and 10 fuse slots.
This Saturday I see if I did everyhting right I've been doing over the past 4 saturdays.....
* Thermal pellet delete (this is actually what I'm most nervous about)
* Freed up sized 5th and 6th port actuators
* all new vacuum lines
* all new coolant lines
* koyorad aluminnum radiator
* atkins torary improved airflow auxillary sleeves
* new A/C compressor
* new belts
* new spark plugs and wires
* fuel injectors were pulled and cleaned/flow tested (11% improvement on the worst injector)
Here's hoping it starts up with no fuel or vacuum leaks and that the torrington bearigs on the front stack did not get crushed. If any of that goes wrong, I'll take my daily plug in hybrid up and then just hang out with yall without bringing the car to the Saturday car show.
