Learn to get along even if there are differences of opinion as to what is and is not a RX-7 or anything else on the Club. Just get over it and move on.
You guys want to debate the V8 issue or any other issue between yourselves then please do it in the forum that was created for this. The DoO forum.
But please keep it out of here or I will have to shut down this thread and send all of you to your rooms with no desert! :-)

Somewhere on rx8club there is a link to a interview with IIRC the president of Mazda Europe where he states that RX stands for rotary sport.

If that's the case, then how do you explain the fact that a large percentage of members don't even own rotary-powered cars, and why do V8 enthusiasts have to explain how the rotary works and what its limitations are to many of those that do?

The DoO section has NOTHING rotary related. It's a bunch of guys bitching about the next president, how much religion sucks, or things that are wrong with government.
