It's pretty easy.
There's lots of projects/jobs that people have posted about that could of helped alot of us. But, it's in places that we never visit. There's lots of projects that people would like to post about, but won't in fear that the post will get lost among the "Where can I buy a JDM TOW HOOK" threads.
If we all had one spot to ask questions and share projects, you'd see people taking on more projects and trying things themselves.
I guarantee, if you made the forum......... you'd see some very cool DIY threads popping up.

I understand what your saying.. but it's still vague as to where this forum would possibly fit.
Do we make one for each generation.. or is this a new section entirely like the race/drift sections.
These are the types of considerations that need to be addressed. Please continue.
FWIW - I'll be gone most of the weekend, going to the racetrack. So my responses may be delayed.

Just make it a sub-forum off "Rotary Performance". Somewhat like the Drag Racing Forum.
People thought I was crazy when I voted to have the Drag Racing Forum built, but it's grown quite a bit and many Drag Racers came out of the wood work because they had a "Home" to post

I think Lupe is right, a forum like this would add alot to the forum as a whole. Rotary Performance seems as good a place for it as any.
I think this is a REALLY good idea. I could've benefited a whole hell of a lot from a sub-forum like that when I was first learning. Hell, i could still stand to learn a whole hell of a lot.

Your build thread is a good starting point.
What would be involed in the new section? Just motor builds? Or are we talking body work, motor work, cage builds, etc?

Yeah, no joke.......... Delslow's project and his fabrication skills are amazing.......
I'd like to see two huge welding Stickies to start off with. One on Tig, and one on Mig. Describing techniques, reviews and anything and everything else.
Hopefully DrKillJoy can add this forum when he gets back from racing.
Aaron you made damn near bite my tongue off.I think it's a great idea. I mean things like Taillight mods, RHD conversion,
NA > NA-T, Fiberglass tech, and mods mods mods. This is deffinetly a sub
forum that could pull its weight. So who do we gotta push off'a cliff to get
this rolling? Would it be limited to fabrication, or would it be DIY?

It's just that the NA forum has been around for 4 months now, and there are a total of 110 threads. Most of which have been covered many times in the generational forums. The NA forum seems a bit redundant since we already have a Rotary Performance forum, two generational forums with NA cars, and the General Rotary forum (as well as the Other Rotary forum). There's no where else dedicated to Fabrication, so a Fabrication subforum is a good idea.
were talking the other day about fabing up a custom nitrous sprayer for
FMIC's and RAD's, I'm sure there's more than one person around that'd
wanna know if they could drop bay temps a cels or two. Michael and I
are also talking about a FD interior conversion pretty seriously all thanks
to you Hammer. And me! I'm doing a RHD drop and swap on my car as
we speak, gimme another good reason to tell people to use the search.
Ur right Aaron, the N/A forum is more of an introductory forum than general
is. It's scarey. No one with an N/A wants to stay N/A, and if you do chances
are your questions been answered already, twice. my 2c
