Haha coming out. 45, 000 mile mazda rebuilt engine. Seized up end of last summer, couldnt even budge it with a 4 foot johnny bar. I think I pushed it more times then I drove it last summer anyways 
Gonna be swapping in a 15k series 8, wire tuck, v-mount, power fc, fuel pump and some other odds and ends. Already got my new catback

Once and a while I try to get everyone together for a little BBQ/cruise, however sunday nights seem pretty dead (I know Im scared to go out) and the weather has been so shitty this year that nothing has really been planned yet.
I also know quite a few of our cars are still on jackstands, so thats another factor!
You on winnipegheights? Thats usually the first place I will post about meets, but I try to cross reference em in here too!
I am gonna try to work on a lil BBQ or something here soon!

I am looking at the RX-7 for sale on autotrader.ca in Winnipeg. Have got good info on it from Gordon Mazda and the owner selling it as well as some info from Performance Mazda here in Ottawa:

20,000km on new motor
Auto tranny
$13,000CDN
Anyone seen it "live"

I'm looking at replacing the Clutch. What's everyone recommend? I have a Centerforce II clutch kit in right now. It's lived out it's use - 25 years old. Starting to slip really bad. Definitely need to replace it. The engine has been modified with a 13 B 6-street ported in Alberta mated with a Mikuni twin 44mm carb along with lots of other goodies. Love driving it and terrorizing 'stangs. Not the fastest out there but for owning this car for 29 years, (yep, the original owner), it is absolutely wonderful to drive.
I would really like to find a clutch kit here locally. Can someone suggest a place and a clutch kit make? Thanks.

Hey Post whats new with your car this spring .
I bought eibach progressive spring kit and KYB GX to upgrade the original stock vert suspension. Alos got a new set of JasonS car mats and trunk liner . Also the Finishline rear bumper kit and T2 side skirts Work is still being done slowly on the 79 T2 swap project
We spotted a Charcoal FB in Transcona this week turned off Regent , up Stapon towards tax center and Reenders........... anyone know who it was ?

Awesome. My car is still at the shop waiting for new ring and pinion and an LSD rebuild. I am getting quite upset with the shop as it is taking way too long.

First Mazda meet of 2012: April 22, 4PM at Assiniboine park
Sunday, April 22nd at 4PM
at the zoo parking lot inside Assiniboine park: we will be meeting for the first Mazda meet of 2012.
This is not just your standard Mazda meet, but also a farewell party for AverageJoe as he is making a big move to Calgary on the 25th.
The plan is to hang around at the park for a couple hours, have a little photoshoot, then out for a nice cruise and possibly some food and drink to cap off the night.
Lets hope for a great turnout and one awesome final adventure with Joe before he skips town.
Even if you dont own or drive a mazda, feel free to come out! (just dont make fun of our rotaries, haha)
See you all on the 22nd!

I got a set of mats from JasonS last year too. They are quite nice, mine look better than stock.

heres a couple shots of the front mats I had done . I also got him to make the first ever vert trunk liner . Sent him a template and he did one in black with just the rotor logo dead center . looks great but dont have a pic yet
