Ugh, sunday nights suck. All that you see "cruising" these days are a bunch of ricers and their fart cannons.

Wrathritic, you have got a very nice FD and i hope to see you at the meet. There definitely isn't as much hype about this meet but i think we will still get a decent turnout.

Yeah thats one of the cleanest I have seen Wrathritic, hope to see you out at the meet.

Cruise nights is usually always terrible, its either guys in hondas who think there special basically ricers, or muscle cars. You never really see the import guys who really know these cars, every now and then maybe a 300zx or mkiv supra, other then that its terrible.

Im still out there at cruise nights for that odd time, last time there were these two hottest girls in a cobalt who kept trying to race me all down portage, then down main towards earls.

Rotorforlife, what did walls say, just curious. Also, have you found your 7 yet?

To correct an earlier post: Walls did not build the black LHD 20B FD that was in his shop a few years ago. I built in when I worked at RX7 Specialties and hit a deer with it in the states while driving to 7stock.

Thats why it was at Walls, he did the body work, and his fabricator did the v-mount IC setup.

Nothing against Wall's, just dont want people thinking he built my car.

I know some of you have parked your cars for the winter already, but i think we should have one more meet for the winter beaters.
Some of you were mentioning having a BBQ. If you guys want to have a BBQ, some one else can organize it since i don't have the time or motivation
I was thinking we would do some go karting again but that depends if we have a BBQ. There may not be enough time to do both. Go karting can always be discussed once we're at the meet.

Many thanks to who ever decides to cross post this to MMC.

Heights thread: Oct. 11 Meet
Just thought i'd move it to this page so some more ppl will see it. Hope to see lots of you there.

ohh my bad, and actually, correct me if I am wrong, but I think if I remember correctly its a Mazda 323 gt 1.6i Mazda, lol.

By the way, how is it in winter, forgot to ask you while you were at the meet, just because the protege is on its last leg, and I dont have the money for a caprice lt1 right now. So anyways I have one of those sitting at the garage where I work, been there for about 5-10 years ( we have a couple of cars like that) with a blown tranny so I was thinking if I could find a tranny for cheap and buy it for cheap it wouldnt be bad.

I have no idea what it's like in winter. I just got it about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I'd say go for it if you can find a cheap tranny. What year is the one at your work?

I am actually not too sure, I will have to ask my boss, but I think it might be late 80's or maybe early 90's.

Checkout mazda323performance.com for some good info on these cars. Just keep in mind that most of those guys are talking about the GTX model which is the AWD turbo one.

alright thanks joe.

K20a2002, do you mean the inside mudguard, if so:

http://www.rhdjapan.com/jdm-low/Mazd...D3S-RX-7-55155

If you mean the outside rear oem mudguards:

http://www.mazdastuff.com/product.cfm?ProductID=760

By the way, nice looking FD, what year is it, how often are you in winnipeg?

edit: just from those picture look like you and I are going for the same look, black with chrome lip rims, and blacked out front turn signals, except mine are just like lightly smoked. Did you use that spray paint stuff to get your signals that black?

Those are the turn signals I have on now, I will post up some pics later so you can see how identical mine and yours are, a few differences but pretty close. When was it did you see me on route 90, I cant really remember.

Joe, I took a quick glance while I was at work the other night, it looks to be an lx model, but I will be taking a closer look tonight so I will definately take you up on that If I have some questions on things.

Ohh and by the way, it has the same double mazda logo, before and after 323. I guess mazda really wanted people to know it was a mazda, lol.

Yeah,I know what you mean about these DRL's, but it looks a whole lot better then stock, and it will do till i go 99 spec.
