lol i drifted that corner on saturday with the SE and i hit the ditch lol. that was right after it snowed. on the friday i was ripping around in the walmart parking lot. good pics. i think i am going to retire the 85 GSL SE i think its time to say bye to it. anyone needs parts for a first gen just ask 1200 for the whole car. its totaled off and i dont have any more money. some jack *** stole it all. i got ripped of really bad and i dont wanna **** around anymore. its tough to do and i probably will cry when she goes but i dont have the 1000$ to fix it. i still owe the bank 600 for the money that i borrowed to get the work done. to bad i got fucked over. if anyone needs any turbo parts just let me know to (NOT THE HOOD) also have a GXL drive train for sale tranny and rear end are good as well as drive shaft. and the SE is good everything is good on it. just let me know

LOL the only reason I knew that was because he was stalled on the road.

I felt bad for him, and I would have pulled over but my bro was giving me a ride.

 

Hahaha, definitely me. It stalls sometimes when it's not warmed up and floods. I don't have a fuel-cut switch so I have to pop the hood, pull the EGI fuse, crank, replace the fuse, try to start...that day I had to do it 5 times with my old crappy battery barely giving me enough juice on the 5th time...anyway, good times.

Does anyone on this tread have an fd in regina, just moved here from van and have only seen a black one.

 

There's a couple of us with FD's, but sadly, some are those who bought the car for looks and probably never signed up on this site.. well until the REW starts beating the **** out of their wallets Do you have one?

 

Yeah I have a left hand drive FD, but sadly right now its got a blown engine so I guess im going to have to fix :p Cant wait till next year to drive it again unless I manage to sell it.

If so, Im very interested in your parts man I was thinking about doing a TII switch, but uh, its soo much work and this would be my first swap ever. if you were looking to put a turbo onto your 1st gen 13b, let me know. Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in my shell. Its an 84 GSL-SE in amazing condition body and interior wise. So i guess im in the same boat as benvprov now. Infact a picture of my car is up with his and L-spec's a few pages back in this thread.
Or if anyone has an engine kicking around i wouldnt be to hard up to droping somthing in since i love this car!

Oh, RX7 Obsessed, theres a 83 GS here in Moose jaw thats FLAWLESS. Not a speck of rust on her, save for a fender thats been scratched. Engine runs even. Guy wants 12-1500 beans. He's recently changed all the brakes, rotors, muffler etc etc. Mechanically, its sound as a pound and would drive away!! I did not buy it because, well, I wanted something that had an LSD. If you have an 85 anyway, drop it in!
