hey does anyone in regina have any parts fb? Im looking for the front bumber and rebar and probably the driver side fender.

 

no parts like that but i do have a shitload if anyone needs any. putting the t2 motor in this weekend after i install all my block off plates on my intake thanks to steve here. then all i have left is to wire it then its probably going up for sale. its an 86 gxl with turbo rear end and tranny the car has 180k on the body in MINT condition and 30k on the turbo motor

 

hey mike, i say you swap drivetrains with me, ill give you my engine etc for your turbo set up, or i can buy your turbo tranny and differential from you. stop by mazda sometime soon and chat it up with me and Lucky as we both work there now.

 

lol i just might do that what time are u guys in? i have a gxl rear end and trany its got LSD clutch type and its only got less then 100k on it. both rear end and tranny. just let me know when you guys are in and ill come buy. o and no you cant buy the turbo parts off me. however you can buy the car when its done

 

well we are in everyday minus weekends 8-5pm so basically any day of the week just stop in. Also i might be selling my seven because the whole carb set up is getting annoying as all hell, i think my fuel pump went on me this week and its at mazda this week, so even if you wanna do a trade plus cash we can talk detail, cause i would much rather a Turbo engine. my plan this summer if money allows is to ditch the Carbed 13b sell it off to someone, and get a T2 engine with moderate boost, Power FC, 3inch DP and exhaust etc. so gimme a message back on here or facebook. i also work tomorrow 9am til 1pm if ya wanna stop in.

 

alright well ya i would be interested in cash for the turbo but well talk when you are ready and i can show you a running car. that sucks about the fuel pump i have a spare for a non turbo because the one form the GXL (non turbo) is just sitting in my garage let me know if you would like to get a hold of it!

 

I started the FB today, first time in 6 months. 2 pumps of the gas, pull the choke and started right up with no problems. Not too bad with 221,000km on the stock 12a. How is every one else doing?

 

nice ^^ my SE starts no matter what i do when ever i go outside it will always start for me. What kind of oil do you run. i have 20/50 castroil in mine. other then that just enjoying the weather and cant wait for the FRICKING snow to be gone.

 

well still havent had time to run all the tests in the shop on my car so if ya guys wanna know whats up with my seven read this post.

Mine is still down since the winter. It was running quite well through the winter until one morning I went out to start it and give it a little revs and the throttle stuck at around 4500rpms until I could pop the hood and yank on the throttle cable. It was running fine but the computer was beeping so I turned it off and went to start it again and didn't have enough juice left in the battery. I crossed the terminals on the battery pulling it out so I think I blew a fuse or two. Swapped out the battery and now it seems to be running on one rotor so I have to spend some time investigating. I'm sure it's not blown as it was fine after it settled down.

I haven't been too keen on fixing it as it's been cold and I will be selling it once I get it running right .

 

dude thats a serious issue. that sounds more then just fuel related. that sounds more like apex seal issues. the SE did this untill i did ATF trick to it. if you can take off the egsaust manifold and look at the apex seals themsealves that will give u a visual of all 6 seals and there shape also give u a chance to pull the injectors and the intake

 

You gotta remember my car is carburated, no injectors.do a little more research on flooding and the effects on the lubrication inside the chamber. You will understand the problem a little more

 

Got the TII out of the garage today; fired up no problem after a winter's rest, and she's running like a train. Topped up with fresh fuel, set the Profec B to "Lo" boost and ran through the gears on the highway; nailed 8 psi dead on, then pulled over and switched to "Hi" and did another run; pinned me to the seatback right through 4th, nailed to 10psi, just like it's supposed to be. God it's tempting to crank the boost controller up to 12 psi, but I'm saving that for the next owner, I guess. Just a reminder; this car is for sale and you can see the details on my post on the previous page of the thread. I'm going to miss this little rotary rocket, but I have to clear space for my 350Z which is somewhere on the road between New Jersey and Moose Jaw. Does anyone know who owns the black RHD FD? It's not quite 99 spec. It's the style just before it (aka 99 spec with the whale tail spoiler). Anyway, you drive like an ***. **** sakes, does anyone with an FD understand the term modesty? I'd prefer to not see you do spirited driving on our busy streets. If you can't leave it on the highway or elsewhere private because you can't show off, then maybe you don't deserve the car. It's ******** like you that put our cars under heavy surveillance by the authorities. I had the FC out for ten minutes on Broad St. for ''routine'' check. After driving since I parked both cars, I went through all of winter without being hassled. I'm also sick of being told that I drive like a dick because someone with an FD thinks they're hot ****. Grow up. All this seriously makes me want to step out of the rotary game. If you're going to represent the rotary, at least do it in a positive way.

Funny how things work out. The black FD with the *** of an owner showed up at the shop today. He drove away like an *** too. Me and Chad even waited to see how he would drive, and he didn't disappoint our expectations. YOU ARE A LOSER, GET A LIFE. PS-- You didn't have your coolant flush done to you're FD, did you? You might want to have your coolant seal checked LAWL. I'm done with this crap. How's everyone doing?

 

haha good lucky, i heard you met my buddy the other day? he came to look at your FC and is still tryin to convince his dad to let him buy it

 

well my FC is back up and running now, fixed and better then before. The problem was a minor Float problem that was causing globs of fuel to leak into the carb, a simple reset of the floats and re tuning of the A/F ratio and its purring like a kitten. Mike if your buddy still wants to come take a look at the car hes more then welcome to. the price im asking is still a little steeper then what Lucky is asking so up to him i guess.

Also we need to do a get together very soon. if anyone has some ideas lemme know and we can see what we can do, even if it is as simple as meeting up at the ledge. THROW AROUND IDEAS!! lol

 

lol hey guys hows it goin! well i need to sell my FB and fast anyone have 500 bux come buy my 85 gsl se its needs to go. The turbo is still sitting the motor is not in yet. ran into issues with the exhaust manifold and needed a new one. so i cant work on it untill i find one. other then that how is everyone. a meet would be nice.

lol, i sold my RX7 also so thats another one down, i plan some something new next summer when the debt is gone.

 

wow the rx7 club is gonna be so dead now lol. we need some new projects guys. how is everyone doin out there!.....(waits for echo)
