Hey all its been ahile since I posted anything. Im might consider selling my FD, if anyone is interested. It is a lhd and has a few mods done to it. It needs an engine though. Theres some pics somewhere in this thread, prob in the first few pages. Its a 94 yellow. The pic has my FD, luckys FC and um.. Reese's FB. Let me know if anyones interested. Will most likely sell for something aropund the 15 to 16 range.

wow ok thanks for that , well could you guys recomend any good books that deal with them or video i have done some research but just am curious if you guys have tried and tested any proven good book or video. Since some of you have done rebuilds just to do a clean rebuild nothing speacial just a clean rebuild what should a person expect to be spending and is there special tools just for a rotary that should be purchased before hand, just for wankel? Thanks in advance for your input.

it all depends....if the rotors and everything are in spec and the housings are not chipped in any way and they are still in spec...a typical rebuild seal kit is around 1000$ thats all your seals side apex everything. if anything else is wrong consider replacing the motor. if the housing is chipped or warped you can send it to Calgary and get it resurfaced but that has mixed results. mostly bad from what i have herd. new motors from Calgary run in the 2500$ range. if the rotors are out of spec they will need replacing. not sure on the cost but i can guess a good 500 bux for stock. If the motor is not blown, dont count on the internals being good. you can find suprises. blocks can flacke even after the 2000 km period from what i have seen. also if the iron is damaged then it is better to just replace the motor. there are no videos the only thing i can recommend is read on the club in what ever section your car is from, read and look at the pics. other then that you can get a manual from atkins to rebuild but i dont know how good that is.

oooo and btw does anyone have a spare turbo assembly lying around just out of curiosity? need one bad.

Well I called a few places in the city and here is what I came up with:

Napa - $13.26/plug
Auto Parts Plus - $14.82/plug
Bumper to Bumper - $12.17/plug

They all had them either in stock or in the warehouse.

If anyone knows of anywhere else to get them a bit cheaper, let me know.

so driving home from school today some girl doing like 60 missed me by like a foot. She clearly had a stop sign but i guess shes too good for those. I had to swerve to avoid her nearly hitting another car, close call but glad nothing was damaged.

yeah, it's been really dead. my car is doing well...it likes the cooler air mostly I have an open cone filter in a hot engine bay and an intercooler that is stuck under an n/a hood. The first will be fixed this weekend and the second will be fixed when someone finds me a turbo hood for cheap .

I'm starting to get things ready for the winter because I have to drive my car through it. I got 4 good winter tires for $100 from a garage sale and now just have to get some winter rims.

Ah, but you had to read between my lines mate! Im buying one I'll send pictures out on here wednesday after I get it up on jacks. I'm doing a full inspection on this one before throwing down coin. The body is rust free, As well as every inch of the wells. Im hoping the undercarraige is entirely aswell

If so, 900 beans and I walk away a happy camper

Hey guys. For some reason, I woke up at 4:30am and I couldn't get myself to fall back asleep. I usually work really early, but I have a couple days off, so my bio clock must be pretty whack Since I had a couple days off, and snowfall being around the corner, i thought I'd snap a few sunrise photos before I stored my car for the season. Enjoy.
