Flow of traffic. 10-15mph over or somethign like that
I'll do 5-10mph over, i got a ticket in MI, back in Dec for doing 85 in 70, the cop lowered it to 75 in a 70.. that cost me 140Amer. :S

I couldn't tell you how fast i'm going go to through the gap until i get to it and see for my self, but fast enough to have fun, not fast enough to go air born off a cliff.

I'm just trying to get you guys excited about the rally! Everyone seems to be kinda lethargic about the whole thing. Let's get pumped!

I can't wait. All I need is some warm weather to clean the car. I put it away dirty and uncovered all winter! Rims are covered in brake dust and takes me a few hours just to clean the rims properly.

(I'm putting a set of ear plugs in my car!)

Today was productive:
Got my head studs retorqued (there was no point to that, they were all fine)
And my valve clearances checked (they were all fine too)
Switched over to synthetic
Got the front lip back on.
got the momo's test-fit.. Have some issues there. Won't be going on the steamroller tires.. looks like it'll be the stockers for this trip. Must find new wheels.

They seemed to fit fine but the car tracks horribly with them on - I'm guessing they aren't quite the right offset. Will keep my eyes out for some BBS LM's but until that happens it'll be rolling on the stockers I guess.

Also, the engine is MUCH quieter at WOT with the synthetic oil, like wow. omfg.

Well, after a very, very, very late night this evening (5:30AM!) the car should be ready to run tonight, all that's left is the turbo(which im waiting to receive, on order from Tial). Assuming it runs, all I have left is to align the fenders and headlights, mount the bumper, finish weld the cage, reassemble my transmission and run some brake lies!

Hey Larry, we met last year. I was leading the caravan in the Red M3. This year I'll have a running RX-7 though. FINALLY! Hope we can all make it together. It will be so much fun to pull into the village with a parade of cars.

going to install a mechanical oil pressure gauge in the GTR tomorrow.
wish me luck, lets all hope my stock gauge just sucks ***. Because if not, the motor is coming out. It's not making any funny noises, or running strangely - but the oil pressure has been gradually going downhill, now it's at the point where the old motor was before it blew up.

Dam that is no good. If the oil pressure is steadly going down as before and thats after a rebuild wouldn't you think it something like an oil pump or clog in your oil cooler/thermostate or something?

I tried working on the car today but I chicken out. Felt to cold. And I must have spent 8 hours on this A/C logic not working with the E8.

it has a really simple water to air cooler. I cleaned it out really well before I put the engine together
oil pump is brand new N1 unit (upgrade from stock a little).

hopefully it's just the sending unit, I have to pull the motor out to figure out what's wrong with it if there is a problem.

N1 is good ****. I hope everythings OK. Rebuilding one motor that is supposed to be strong as hell is bad enough, it would suck if you had to rebuild 2.
